As I just posted directly above, 4 minutes before you did... with the exact same link. #MONG -
1) OoO said WWI "ERA" veteran, which means he served in other conflicts during or around the time of WWI, but not necessarily related. 2) Poland didn't have conclusive birth/death records then if I'm correct, which makes it just about impossible for the GRG to verify him.

Well asides from absolute imbeciles who have nothing better to do than vandalise Wikipedia, and wait for a DL reaction.... It appears at least one of them wasn't a hoax: Eleanor Parker DEAD at 91 > http://www.salon.com/2013/12/09/actress_eleanor_parker_dies_at_91/ -

Nobel laureate Sir John Cornforth's page was edited yesterday to say "my grandad passed away this morning blah blah blah"... either the media are really slow or it was a hoax. Actress Eleanor Parker's page was edited tonight to say she had passed. Also seeing a few tweets emerging... worth keeping an eye on! EDIT: Silent-era actress Carla Laemmle's page edited to say she died today as well. And so we wait... God our media are shit, or I'm gullible. One of the two. -
Disagree. Remove Pete Seeger, Henry Kissinger, Nicholas Parsons - all are in excellent health. The rest should stay.

Not a big fan of fat feminist pigs. That's just me though.

Marvin Rainwater. The only way that guy could sound any more country is if his name was Cletus McMethteeth And despite this he still scored a UK no.1 in the 50s with his song "Whole Lotta Woman"!

Tried the exact same thing. Plenty of Roads but no Michael, I think we can assume it was his stage name. Very odd that no obituary was ever produced and the media has failed to notice it at all. Though the same thing appears to have happened last year with Leila Danette.

Two months later and finally found a death notice for Sheila Wright, former Labour MP for Birmingham who died on July 5th aged 88. http://www.bmdsonlin...ource=tmmi_bmem Very unusual for any British MP's death to go completely unnoticed by the mainstream press and their obituary writers. -

Cheers for the links OoO, I've edited my post to include them. As for Draga Matkovic, an obit has sprung up here > http://www.domus-mea.de/2013/08/draga-matkovic-im-alter-von-105-jahren-gestorben/ so she did indeed die at the end of last month at the age of 105. A DDP miss unless the Telegraph have a really slow day within the next few months...
