You should be facepalming yourself @TQR. I've known Eddie for 20 years. He used to openly admit that he wore women's clothes for entertainment purposes and because it gave him a thrill. Now he's on this "I'm a bloke but call me her" wagon, which in my opinion makes a complete mockery of people who are genuinely transgender. So yes, it's "he", and HE is a pervert in a frock. Nothing more.

I think it's safe to assume that @Lafaucheuse is receiving commission from Le Monde. Apparently other good French publications are non-existent (Le Figaro, Ouest France, Le Parisien, La Croix).

Horse shit. She earns shit tons as a presenter, not to mention the numerous gigs she's got elsewhere. What she means is the bill has been piling up and now she needs to pay it. That's what she means by "debt" but she knows fine well that most people will understand it as her being in financial trouble and unable to pay. Another sop story to keep the headlines going and to keep the dollars rolling in. I'll give her credit where due, she's graduated with first class honours from the "Katie Price and Nolan Sisters School of Media Milking".

You say that but a lot of Doctor Who cast and crew members die off radar every year.
-
Thank you. All added, including Georges Rivière, even though I think that's a bit of a risk. Going to be a nightmare finding news of the deaths of Alfred Hoffman and Donald Pelmear if we can't get access to Equity magazine anymore.

Thank you @Gisooo. I've updated and also just added the Class of 1924 (23 names in total). Additions welcome!

Doesn't mean that they're not now employing AI tools to write their articles. Clicks = money.

She better hope he's okay. Without him she can't milk nearly as much publicity for herself.

The first link appears to be a bot site. The problem with these bot sites is that they're now starting to look like genuine news sites, because 1) the AI tools are getting smarter, and they can compile articles that read like a human 2) so much of the clickbait news pieces written by humans actually sound bot-like themselves! Jane Morgan had #1 hits. She also has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, which she laid not all that long ago. She's not going to die off radar.

People Who Are Dead According To Wikipedia...

Judith Hemmendinger (wiki) German-born Israeli researcher and author, supposedly died 24 March, aged 100. Specialised in child survivors of the Holocaust and awarded Frances Legion of Honour in 2003. A pick on one or two pools on here if I'm not mistaken. -
I would agree she doesn't belong on the list. Lives mainly in Geneva. She has another residence close to my aunt in London. The place in the French Alps sounds like a place where she goes on holiday. I have a time share in Tenerife. I'm not fucking Spanish.

I predict the grim reaper is going to confound sceptics and be its most powerful yet like a super strong enema in 2024 moreso than recent years equalling or even beating 2020

I'm at the stage now where I think we should just take Jimmy Carter out. We need someone who they'll never suspect though. What's Lady Cecilia Bartholemew up to these days? Edit: Prepping her nuclear bunker for an imminent apocalyptic war apparently: -

HUGE ... if true -
I didn't even realise they had a brief period where the name changed. Any idea why?

Dennis Schiavon (aka Vince Santini) of The Rezillos dead of lung disease at 63.

A hero of mine. So much so that I’d like everyone on here to enjoy a picture I recently took of Lane’s amputed toes which he lost to frostbite on Everest (along with a thumb and a few fingers!)…

Already added to the list above. I can’t add him or Simpson to the Wikipedia list as they don’t have pages of their own on there. -
Times death notice for Stanley Clayton, aged 104. This means there is now nobody born in 1919 and still alive listed on Who's Who, with just Geering and Milner living from 1910s births.

Thanks OoO. I've added them to the centenarian sportspeople list of Wiki here. Their previous exclusion was clearly just an oversight. -
I was told last week by a journo that she had part of her oesophagus removed and I didn't know what to make of it. Looking like they were probably right. If that's where the cancer is she could be in real trouble. Edit: then again, would this explain "abdominal surgery"? Who knows? Not sure what to believe.

Surprised nobody has made a Wiki page for him! That's how I missed him. -

First day of spring today brings winter officially to a close. Pretty awful 3 months. Never known it to be this dry. Thought it was getting better a few weeks ago and then an even worse dry spell. Bah! -

Happy 104th birthday to Graham Bailey! If I'm not wrong, I think he's now second oldest English League player ever after Arthur Smith? Arthur Smith BEM, 106, Bury, Leicester City Graham Bailey, 104 (still living), Huddersfield Town, Sheffield Utd. George Haigh, 103, Stockport County William Simpson, 102, Carlisle Utd. Wilf Nixon, 102, Fulham Zach March, 101, Brighton & Hove Albion, Portsmouth Harry Clark, 100, Gateshead Reg Beresford, 100, Crystal Palace Alf Patrick, 100, York City Ofc, there was also Sam Latter, 106 Third Lanark – a few months older than Arthur Smith, but he played in the Scottish League.
