QO from Metro Edit: Just realised Metro isn't on the approved list for the DDP. Dumb!

Minimalists (and other classical composers/musicians)

American composer/conductor Alice Parker (wiki) died on Christmas Eve, aged 98, according to her organisation's Facebook page. A previous (but not current) pick on the 20/20 pool. Also mentioned by @msc before. -
It's working fine. SC is just a thicko who doesn't know how to use Google Translate.

Telegraph obit for K. M. Peyton.
-
She is definitely dead. Two of the papers are currently writing obits for her.

I stopped watching the video at 0:25 after realising the whole thing is like a Microsoft Power Point slide I could create myself when I was 12. Tis no the same level as Dear Auntie, TOC. Merry Christmas to you all the same.

Margaret Storey (wiki) died on 28 September 2022 (aged 96) as per death record here. With thanks to @Master Obit once again.

People Who Are Dead According To Wikipedia...

Margaret Stuart Barry died on 23 September 2022 in Liverpool, as confirmed via matching a potential hit on the Probate Search with a record giving a location and year of birth on the GRO Index. A current pick on the 20/20 pool, and a DDP pick this year, 2022, 2021, 2020, and 2019. Bad luck. Thanks again to @Master Obit. -
Nancy Buckingham died on 8 September 2022 (aged 98) as per death record. Last residence was Scarborough. It's a real possibility that all of the authors above could have died off radar. With thanks to @Master Obit once again for this.

Sir Humphrey Moon, presumed 7th Baronet (wiki) died on 7 May 2022 (aged 102) as per his death record available through Ancestry. With thanks to @Master Obit for pointing this one out to me. Oldest living baronet is therefore Sir John Conant, 2nd Baronet (b. 1923, wiki).

British-Indian grandmother Bachan Athwal was released from prison in April. Evil family matriarch behind the 1998 honour killing of Surjit Athwal (wiki). 87 next year and overweight. Worth a punt in the DDP.

That's horrible 3/5 of the siblings now dead. Plus Bobbie Jean had a young daughter. Well known that she had a drug addiction but still sad. The two surviving siblings, Nick and Angel seem to be sensible and stable, which must be a relief to their mother who has had to bury 3 children and her husband in the course of 11 years.

"He later moved to the United States, settling in Littleton, Colorado". Could've just read the Olympedia profile you quoted.
-
But Tommy Dix was born in 1923. He's from the USA, and he has an English Wiki page. You said there were none...
-
Very sad. Here's him opposite the great Carel Struycken in Men in Black. Side note... Stricken is 76 next year. 1 role in 2021, 1 role in 2022, 0 in 2023. Worth keeping an eye on.

Think you just contradicted yourself there.
-
When is the online database expected to be updated?
-
It hasn't. I believe Master Obit is confused.
-
Which death index is this you're looking at?

When you ninja YW… but forget he has his own thread

Robert Solow dead at 99. https://x.com/ivanwerning/status/1737968022042673291?s=46&t=UENGoez2FLndgJC40K16Wg Link not embedding but it means that the user who keeps suggesting him can finally turn his attention elsewhere.

FFS. He was named in July by The Times. It was a big front page story. Do keep up.
-
Or useless lurkers like @Drewsky1211 can just read my post and then add it to Wikipedia rather than share it with the rest of the forum. These hoes ain’t loyal.

Dead at 103. Obits on Google but I’m out atm so someone else can do the honours.
