The judgement is even more ludicrous if you look at the full context of what he said. Really silly the police even took it up.

    Summer Olympic Deaths/Dead Medallists

Also revealed this week that Portuguese sailor Francisco de Andrade (wiki) died in April 2021, aged 97. He was listed as living up until yesterday so was presumed to be a centenarian. De Andrade was a bronze medallist in the 1952 Games.

    The 100 Club

John Hemingway (wiki), 104, returned to his old school in September, 86 years after leaving (new photo of him in article). Hemingway says he doesn't understand why he's still alive. A sentiment I'm sure @drol shares. Sir Lloyd Geering (wiki), 105, hasn't been heard from since March when he kicked up a fuss about the New Zealand Government not doing enough to tackle climate change. I thought Hemingway would die first given that he's been in a home for years but if "keeping up appearances" is anything to go by, Geering will probably go first.

Link doesn't work. It just goes to the home page of a "remove paywall" type site.

    Hollywood Possibilities

Recent interview with Oscar-winning actress Lee Grant (wiki) from late September. Confirms she was born in 1925 (not the later years that are thrown around elsewhere online). After she tells the interviewer this and he doesn't react she responds with "Wait a minute, you’re supposed to react to that, kid! You’re supposed to say ‘What?! You’re kidding!’ Do your part. You’re supposed to react to that." Sounds quite sharp. A future centenarian?

    Puerto Rican media now confirming.

    Bobby Charlton

I mean his initial cause of death was given as complications of advanced dementia. Is falling over and hitting your head really a more sad way to go than having a long term illness that's so advanced your body can no longer function, you can't breathe or eat, and you basically slowly suffocate to death? I'd take the fall any day.

Several posts on Facebook reporting that Angel Martín Taboas (wiki) died on Friday (27th) aged 105. Credible report from a Puerto Rican politician's FB page here.
