According to this Facebook post, Adolf Weinacker (wiki) died on September 11, aged 94. @whoismakoto, been almost 2 years since your original post. Time for an update to your 1948 list?

My list of living famous Scots born in the 1920s has become very small. Deadpooling populars Sandy Gall and Gudrun Ure still holding up though.

I'm willing to bet a lot of money that Alan Greenspan will outlive your time on DeathList Forums.

Park's South Korean Wikipedia page now carries a death date of 14th October 2022. Not sure if this is backed up anywhere else, but in any case this suggests why we can't really go off what is written under a YouTube video.

Will never understand the massive hype about a TV show where ppl are filmed watching TV shows.

He's not the oldest politician "ever". You just pulled that out your backside.

Thought it was time she got her own thread. Actress and Hollywood royalty Piper Laurie (wiki) turns 90 tomorrow. A surviving star of Hollywood's Golden era, she was nominated for an Oscar three times (Carrie, Children of a Lesser God, and The Hustler). To later audiences, probably best known for playing the scheming villain Catherine Martell on Twin Peaks during the 1990s. She had several acting credits in 2018... but none since. Video interview of her here from March 2021. Looks ok for now but worth keeping an eye on. Picked by 5 teams in the DDP this year.

Baroness Thomas of Walliswood (wiki) dead at 87. Businesswoman and Liberal Democrat member of the House of Lords (1994–2016). Expelled from the HoL in 2016 due to non-attendance. Times death notice

I only know of her because South Park parodied her appearance in She’s the Sheriff.

There's been about 150,000 people who have taken part in the Olympic Games since its modern day inception in 1896 (plus add about another 12,000 names to that number every 4 years once both another Summer and Winter Games has taken place). The vast majority of them are very obscure. In fact, many of the vital details (in some instances their names!) are missing when it comes to the early athletes. Every year 100s of athletes die off radar as well, so in reporting dozens of them here at once you're not being a completionist by any means. So what's the point? Unless they at least won a medal or had some claim to fame (i.e. being one of the oldest survivors, caught doping, became a big politician etc) it's a bit futile.

I'm guessing it's the school holidays and you're very bored?

The John Schroeder in that obituary is not the same guy as the Wiki page. Different birth year, middle name, education background etc.

We know – see the previous page.

I'll send this to Olympedia. Awkward for a gold medallist to die off radar.

Just going to put this out there – my gran was in a chair and looked like that for the last 10 years of her life. She might die next year, she might die in 5 or more. I don't think wheelchair plus "oh she's aged" merits DL inclusion. Stronger candidates to consider. -
Here's his speech from 1st October. Seems fine to me.

LM pinged me a message a week ago (when they were actually released). BBC are either really slow, or the story wasn't cleared for release yet for security reasons.

Article has now been edited to say he's still alive. As Lafrenchy said, it's a hoax. End of.

Article now removed.

An elaborate heist then.
