Is he the brother of Georgie Fame?

Updated. Gene Alden is indeed deceased (see note 2), as I suspected. This means that Dave Burgess is the last survivor from the first Grammy Awards in 1959.

Two more retirements from the House of Lords: Lord Selkirk (wiki, better known as James Douglas-Hamilton), 80, Scottish Conservative MSP (1999–2007), minister under Thatcher, Minister of State for Scotland under John Major Lord Watson of Richmond (wiki), 82, Liberal Democrat, broadcaster and one-time President of the Liberal Party <-- looks like proper roast gammon Not quite sure what's caused such a large amount of retirements, but all these men are above life expectancy so worth watching.

That's an obit for Simpson Kalisher, not Roy Harrisville (think you quoted the wrong post). So nice of them to read my tip-off email and write an obit without acknowledging and responding. Cucking funts. -

Roy Harrisville (wiki), American Lutheran theologian, supposedly dead at 101. -
As per this April 2009 interview with his granddaughter, Krastyu Trichkov (wiki) "died forgotten" some time before then. Another one to take off of your list @arghton.

Times obit for Norman "Nobby" Pilcher (wiki), police officer famous for busting a number of high profile celebs (including most notably John Lennon and George Harrison) for drugs. Died way back in March 2021, aged 85 from cancer, but The Times have decided to give him a late obituary now.

Two retirements from the House of Lords today: Lord Quentin Davies (wiki), 79, Conservative (then defected to Labour) MP (1987–2010), served as a minister under Gordon Brown Lord Doug Hoyle (wiki), 93, Labour MP (1974–1997) and father of Commons Speaker Lindsay Hoyle One more due on Thursday: Lord Hylton (wiki), 91, Crossbench hereditary peer, longest serving crossbencher, sat in Parl since 1968 Just two years ago I frequently saw Hylton downing pints in the Lord Riverside Bar, but he looked pretty frail. I know nothing of the other two, but I think these could be 3 names worth watching.

Yes, see the edit to my post above.

You're right. Priscilla is listed on Wiki as having died in 2014, but that's not possible as here she is in 2016 and in 2019 she was still signing fan mail. Anything in Accurint for Valerie Lee Shepard? Real name Lois Valerie Shepard. She's not been heard from since 2014(?) EDIT: Never mind. Still signing fan mail in July 2023!

Betty Ann Cain, Elaine Mirk, Valerie Lee Shepard (real name Lois Valerie Shepard, but could have died off radar). Who is the 4th?
-
Ardith Dondanville / Todd dead at 92. Just 4 living child actresses left from The Wizard of Oz now. @Gisooo, IMDb says she died in November 2022, Lord Heath says January 2023. Is there anything on Accurint to confirm either way? EDIT: Never mind. Here is her published obituary on Legacy.com. Died in November 2022.

This very scanned letter is on StarTiger and is time/date stamped March 9, 2021. So you didn't just receive it. Liar, liar. Pants on fire. Anyway, she's dead. I wouldn't have even added her to the list in the first place but you told me she was still alive so I took your word for it.

Why have you come here? Did they ban you over at the 110 Club Forum for being annoying?

This thread attracts so many weirdos.

That fact wasn’t very fun.

I’ve been told local association has briefed members that should they hold it in the by-election the MP will need to understand that they’re only holding it for a year until Eddie takes over.
