Please don’t. We’re already bored.

He was 92, and 5 days shy of his 93rd birthday. It’s not unusual for ppl to round up though, hence why they said 93. Anyways, it doesn’t really matter.

I’m guessing you prefer her brother who bankrolls the SNP?

Negative. I’ve had 2 shadow hits… and too much booze.

At least the DL is in step with Dry January

Confirmed.

Some useless trivia for you – both the UK and the US versions of Dennis the Menace issued their first copies on March 12, 1951. No relation, just sheer coincidence.

Arguably there’s no such thing. He was tweeting yesterday and had announced last year that he wanted to go on the road again. I think it’s more likely that he had a sudden medical turn ie heart attack or stroke.

Inquest into his death reveals that Leslie Jordan died from “cardiac dysfunction” and was dead before his car crashed. Now, I’m no doctor but if they’re certain that he was dead before crashing then it sounds like his aorta may have ruptured, in which case he likely died instantly (Hollywood style if you like) so he wouldn’t have even known he was a goner. At least he didn’t suffer in any way.

2023 is going to be the year when every DL drop dies.

Almost an hour later… the U.S. media are useless.

I smell a rat. Until Lady Cecilia Bartholomew confirms I’m calling it a hoax.

Got a Telegraph obit in the end!

They've suspended the search due to adverse weather conditions. He's a goner.

Why does this thread have a dead tag? Barry still breathes. The tag should be removed or say "2/3 dead" or something.

Guardian obit for Nicholas Herbert, 3rd Baron Hemingford (wiki), aged 88. Journalist for The Times and the Cambridge Evening News. He sat as a Crossbench peer in the House of Lords between 1982 and 1999. His second wife was novelist and children's writer Jill Paton Walsh (wiki, 1937–2020)

Already done

Sad. Used to work for his company years ago.

Enric Marco (wiki) died on 21 May 2022, aged 101. Obituary here, though it's only just been spotted and added to his Wiki page. Marco was a Catalonian man who wrote books about his treatment as a prisoner in Nazi concentration camps. He made a lot of money in the process, headed up associations representing survivors and even received awards and honours. Only problem was he was an imposter – he made everything up. Widely covered by international media, including the BBC on occasions, but disappeared into obscurity thereafter.

Haven’t forgotten just haven’t had time to start it yet. That list keeps growing and growing. Not many names are dropping!

People Who Are Dead According To Wikipedia...
Ulitzer95 replied to Vaagheid's topic in DeathList Forum
An edit today to the wiki page of Italian journalist Sergio Borelli (b. 1923) says he died back on 17 Sep 2021. Somewhat surprising given his prominence. @drol ? EDIT: Never mind. Found an obituary via the Facebook page for his documentary. -
Thought you got me muted Sir Cunto?

This death feels significant. When I joined this forum in 2008 there were plenty of people around who were born in 1907 (the birth year of the new oldest living person).

Ah come on man, you can't cheat. Sticking ppl known only for their longevity on your lists, let alone the world's oldest person, is cheating. It has to actually shadow what the [imaginary] "committee" would consider putting on the actual DL.
