Unusually, no one seemed to have a bad word to say about him. Apparently he was a nightclub doorman as well as a judo champ, a job I can only imagine he excelled at. However, If he died in Pakistan, as it is several hours ahead of UK/USA, then there's a fair chance he did die in Pakistan on 2nd May... According to an article on the BBC he must have been killed between 9-10pm BST on 1st May. Thats 1am on 2nd May in Pakistan Looks like Twitter has a use after all. Germ Free Adolescents is the greatest punk album of all, bar none. Every song (and the singles) an absolute classic in its own right, and the lyrics still so relevant 30+ years later. RIP Poly - a true original I wouldn't go as far as that. It's certainly one of the best. One should never make a definitive statement as what is the best of such and such genre. Indeed it could be described as a post-punk album as the tone shifts towards open ways of expression, more than in attitude than in music (although the sax also does this musically)...

I have some sympathy with these sentiments but the danger is that expensive gagging orders might be perceived by the rich and famous as a kind of "license to shag" with impunity while projecting a saintly image to an otherwise unsuspecting public. I'm sure that Americans felt safer in their beds when J Edgar Hoover was running the FBI, but imagine the harm that could have been done had Hoover been blackmailed using images of him dressed in high heels, stockings and a fluffy black dress (although these stories may not be true). Once you start gagging the press you create fertile ground for the rumour mill that flourishes among the Twitterarti and bloggerdom. Everyone has weaknesses but if they are propagating a wholesome image whilst simultaneously doing the dirty on their spouses then its rank hypocrisy if you ask me, protecting the family or not. You might as well go the whole hog and leave murderers/rapists unexposed for the sake of their family/ loved ones. I think this is the arena for the internet. I was on another forum where I warned not to mention any names unless I get done for contempt of court. But if a million people do this, what's Justice Establishment and his over-paid minions going to do then?
