BBC obit for Randy Pausch Congrats to all the DDP teams that selected him Good thing I got Getty then! That should shake things up a tad...

Question is, will he get a pukka obit?

Excellent - we give Cambridge 350,000 & we then make a profit of £5.15 million. I like that kind of business deal for RFC Very sorry to see Kits go, especially to a side who will be coming down as we go back up, but £5.5m is very good money for a 28 yr old uncapped internationally striker. We can get two, maybe three decent strikers for that. I did like Kitson's rather refreshing attitude to football & his comments in the media, but we can do without the drink driving element of his life.... I wouldn't be too sure of that OoO...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PHANTOM... -
Apart from his nose I think most of the rest of him has been cut away. Perhaps he will leave it to Michael Jackson. He's looking more and more like Spike Milligan!

I thought he'd get a better obit (publicity wise) than that! I'd have him on the bloody 10 O'Clock news! Very odd...

Him as well? I wonder what your lonely hearts ad is like: Would like to meet a man who is warm, has GSOH and is heir to a South Asian political dynasty...

From what I understand, his status is plausible, but not yet confirmed. There's a brief discussion about it here. I should point out that Britain is (with six!) the only remaining nation to have more than one verified surviving veteran. Ah, the old Tommy spirit!

Oh dear, poor Tony. I knew he was going to die soon....well done to the teams who picked him on the DDP. That's going to shake things up a bit.... Update: Actually not as much as I thought, though DDT stretches his (unassailable?) lead....Football Fan must be kicking himself though. Good day for They Died And Left Me In Charge: Two hits, 25 points and place in the top ten! Congrats TDALMIC..

I couldn't get into that show, even though at the time I was working as a security guard. I found the acting in it to be terrible and the timing between the "punchlines" to be abysmal. It was almost as terrible as that so-called comedy show starring James Bolam that takes place in an underground carpark. Suit yourself. Mind you, you live in sitcom Eldorado don't you?... I thought Eldorado was that awful soap opera that was on Channel 5 BBC1 in fact....(1990s TV was crap.....discuss)

I'm getting a little worried. I'm doing better (Helms is my 7th hit) than the organiser of the Dead Pool "ought" to be doing, according to the unwritten rules of DDP etiquette. Considering Plews is due to die this year, and Edwin Morgan & John Hermon are VERY ill, I'm almost embarassed to get too many more hits. Not this time, however. Helms was.. ahem.. not my most favourite person. Still, he died on 4th July which shows what a patriot he was...
