And Knickers United relegated? I admit it we were pants! -
This completes a unique double for the Deathlist...Bo Diddley and Bo Dudley!

Not that I want to stir anything or owt but...... When you read a story like the one above, or consider the similar response to the likes of Peter Sutcliffe, you realise that Germaine Greer and her mates forty odd years back hadn't a clue about the scale of the task they took on. Well, they just love a bastard don't they?

Helms...

So just one hit a month will put this year in first place. This is turning into a vintage year for the Deathlist!

The Curse of Gene Wilder......

Sssh! I was keeping that for meself for next years DDP...still if you have him in the list, then the idea of him being unique would have gone for a Burton anyway! Uniques are hard to find in the cut-throat world of deadpooling y'know...

Many people in the entertainment business deftly lose a year now and again from their birthdate, causing some confusion later on for biographers etc. Tina Turner being one good example. Zsa Zsa Gabor being another. Re the DL mascot after the demise of Mr Dunn. We're looking for someone widely presumed dead we know to be alive, who may through old age or infirmity shuffle off at any time but is more likely to linger and allow us plenty opportunities for banter and ironic praise of a limited talent. That's about where we are with Cpl Jones, right? The obvious successor to my mind has to be Dickie O. I'll get me coat. That's just what I've said in the Dickie O thread! Great minds....or is it coats?

Spot on Millwall. It's a great shame the thread is so thick because there are some real gems in here and, I think I recall, there used to be two Richard O' threads, such was his popularity. There was drama, spats, controversy. There was Pooka in the trees. All human life was here and a bit more besides. This thread is like the Olympic flame of the Deathlist. Seconded. Should Clive Dunn go the way of all flesh (although he shouldn't because he is immortal), then Richard O'Sullivan should take his place as the resident Deathlist pick...

Pah, you mean you believe that Communist fabrication that they were 2-0 up after 8 minutes!! It was all faked... Ahem.. *Cough* Erm.. the final was at Wankdorf Stadium. *SN-word* Okay, I goofed, but not as bad as Kwiatowski did in goal vs Hungary... 140 goals in 26 games and not a 0-0 in sight. Those were the days. Gives hope for the upcoming Euro 2008, co-hosted by Switzerland...

3-2 actually...

Tough choice, now that the most enevitable candidate has gone... Jesse Helms

I'll settle it. It is Patrick Allen. He did quite a few voiceovers for the Carry On films. Also catch his narration for the documentary 'All My Loving', about pop music, made in 1968... And whaddya mean you've never seen Carry On Doctor OoO? That's a disgrace that is...

Not all bad, mind. He may well live to see the start of the next CPDP. Hmmm...at least we've got prior warning. If he makes it to 2009 he's a deffo for Deathlist and DDP... -
