Many people in the entertainment business deftly lose a year now and again from their birthdate, causing some confusion later on for biographers etc. Tina Turner being one good example. Zsa Zsa Gabor being another. Re the DL mascot after the demise of Mr Dunn. We're looking for someone widely presumed dead we know to be alive, who may through old age or infirmity shuffle off at any time but is more likely to linger and allow us plenty opportunities for banter and ironic praise of a limited talent. That's about where we are with Cpl Jones, right? The obvious successor to my mind has to be Dickie O. I'll get me coat. That's just what I've said in the Dickie O thread!
