Oh that's a shame, I liked him!
-
I still rate him dressing up as an Admiral of the Fleet and turning the Sun newsroom into a war-room during the Falklands Conflict as being his greatest moment. When will we see his like again? Hopefully never....
-
He's fooked - look at his face. His hands show defiance but his face tells a different story..... Strange article. It's almost as if The Sun are egging hardened criminals on, so much for the moral high ground then...

Belinda Emmett, who played Rebecca Fisher in Home and Away has died aged 32 of cancer.

Agreed. He'll make TSAN 50th Anniversary.....

What a great name though...JACK PALANCE!

C'mon Charlton, Harold, Saddam...you know where the door is!

Too slow. Here it is. There goes another potential hit for 07. Is it me or do you have a better chance predicting someone to 'go' between 80-90 rather than from 90-100? All I know is that the moment I pencil someone in on my list for next year, they'll die within a couple of weeks. Your signature quotes Bill Hicks, which is a coincidence as in one of his best routines, he mentions Jack Palance in relation US foreign policy.....

Yeah, I think about 2011 (imagine if the last death was on 11/11/11?) What's the betting at least one newspaper (prob Guardian/Independent) would have the front page headline 'The Last Post'? Make no mistake, when the last one goes we'll all know about it......
-
Not long now eh? Who wants to wager when the last WWI veteran goes over the top for the last time?
-
I like the quote about the operation being a success!

If you're related to Tessa Wyatt, I'm the F*****g Pope! Funny that all of your abuse is sexually based - problems at home perhaps?

Right here goes... Alfredo di Stefano - He's REALly dead! Albert Hoffmann - Bertie takes the final trip.. Patrick Moore - The Die at Night Ladybird Johnson - LBJ DOA Milton Friedman - Alive? That's being economical with the truth! Michael Foot - Love's Labour's Lost Life Eli Wallach - The Good, The Bad and the Deceased Kirk Douglas - Ace in the Hole Vera Lynn - We'll Meet Again Kurt Waldhiem - A Nazi way to go Billy Graham - Lived by the book, died by the book Ingmar Bergman - Checkmate! Margaret Thatcher - This Lady's not for turning in her grave and my personal favourite... Muhammad Ali - The Rave in the Grave (or, to be really cruel: The Slave in the Grave!) more to come... -
Barzan would, probably. The judge, whatshisface would be mentioned as part of the trial - I think, DDP anyway, it's not an obit per se, but a mention that they have died:- which surely the BBC would do. TF, if only bloody Papon, del Toro, Gerald Ford and Gloria bloody Stuart would die, I would have no conundrum. Sounds like you're spolit for choice OoO...
-
I'm sticking with Saddam - if he and his associates are hanged B4 2007, then I (and others) snaffle the points in the DDP and leaving everyone else thinking what might have been. Besides, if you're making room for three certs, that's less room for possible deaths in the year ahead that might go anyway....
-
Maybe really famous people are going to die from today onwards!
-
Me included! Is this Karl Rove's 'October Surprise' (albeit in November) which he was boasting about?
-
Original presenter of the Top Gear radio show, along with John Peel....

Funnily enough, I've been listening to John Lennon's album 'Imagine' from 1971. Includes the infamous 'How Do You Sleep'..... ..here's an example.. You live with straights who tell you you was king Jump when your mama tell you anything The only thing you done was yesterday And since you've gone you're just another day interesting....
