If she follows Robin Cook, that's another New Labour critic biting the dust. Surely there should be some sort of cosmic balancing, say someone like Alistair Campbell for instance....
-
Let us not forget folks that Robin Cook was the most politically high profile critic of the Iraq War/Debacle...... That Blair is one lucky son of a bitch!!! I had a fleeting thought a few days ago that Blair might actually be the Anti-Christ, before dismissing it as paranoid speculation......

I think a way of having a decent stab at who will pop off next is to find out when their birthdays are. I have noticed that a lot of people die at around their birthday or shortly before. For example, the ex-PMs, Ted Heath and Jim Callaghan died around the time of thier birthday (Ted after, Jim just before). So, first find out who left on the list next have thier birthday and decide that they are the next to go....

or Edward Heath, ex UK Prime Minister = Keen, white-haired, rude, Marxist PM! After all, he was Prime Minister
-
Suggestion for tagline -Yesterday's Man (or is that a bit too politically esoteric? Watch Michael Cockerills BBC2 tribute to see it mentioned!)
-
Looks like its number 7 for the Deathlist.. At least he has his place in History (Europe, the three day week) Unlike some PMs I could mention....
-
Of course he's bloody famous! He's Deep Throat! I'm surprised he didn't post to the Deathlist Forum personally: 'Hello boys and girls. I'm about to pop it but I won't leave without my own 15 mins of fame, after all, everyone else is doing it these days for much worse so why not me! Yours ever Mark Felt (Deep Throat) PS, I'll try and hang on for '06!!'

Milton Friedman (b. 1912) Nobel Prize winning economist. It would be an irony if he died in the same year as Galbreith, as they are complete opposites on the politcal economy spectrum! -

HM The Queen (b.1926) What I've been hearing, is that the reason why there is this bungled wedding between Charles and Camilla is because The Queen is not well.... -

I bet Blair's pissed off though, A major funeral, a major election. I think he'll have to call the General Election another time...
-
Oh gawd, not another Simpson lover! You don't happen to work in the media by any chance?
-
Popes, Ex-PMs, royal weddings. I bet Blair will wish he never signposted this bloody election for 05/05/05! I digress....

Someone mentioned Stanley Baxter. He hasn't been seen for a bit either. One to think about for 2006 perhaps?

Dave Allen died today aged 68. It's the ones who haven't been seen or heard of for a while we have to be wary off. Any other entertainers that have ominously dropped off the radar?

It was on Monday on BBC4 at 8.30pm. The younger chap at the start maybe the one to replace the old pro when he finally joins the stars he's watched these many years.
