Authors Last A Long Time, But....

I don't know much about her. Was she as big of a bitch as her sis Joan? She wrote the book on it... I could have swore I saw her on telly the other day and she seemed OK. -
Goodbye to the plummiest voice in Christendom! RIP.

It's hard to know where "Clara" or Louise Coleman actually starts as a companion. She first appears as Oswin Oswald in Aug 2012, then pops up again at Xmas 2012 in Victorian London, before finally getting on board in March 2013. For the record, Lis Sladen started in December 1973 and left in October 1976. Janet Fielding entered the Tardis in February 1981 before deciding it wasn't fun any more in February 1984, three years later. Then there's Frazier Hines, who started in December 1966 and left (with Wendy Padbury and Patrick Troughton) in June 1969, clocking up an incredible 116 episodes! Hamish Wilson appeared as Jamie in 2 episodes in 1969's The Mind Robber.

I actually like Jenna Coleman. She's cute as a little button She is but three years is long enough, although I'm starting to wonder what's coming around the corner regarding the main cast...

That's the ultimate all-purpose offensive joke. I usually use cancer, or gang rape. I mean I use them as the punchline, not in any weird BDSM sense. What's worse than gang rape? Having a worm in your apple Nah, I don't get it! Hoi!!! 6 out of 7 people like gang rape! Well there's always at least one conscious stricken male... That's one for the feminists!

Times have certainly changed. You'd be hard pushed to find any woman that doesn't shave "down there"... I don't, can't reach Liar!! You cant see it, can you!! That's right, I can't reach it and I haven't seen it except in a mirror for a good decade now. There may well be new species nesting in it. As David Frost might have said: "oh Fupa!" -
Who Will Win The Leadership Election?

Are you a supporter of another party by any chance? Any party is preferable to the Cuntservatives. At least now Labour is led by a socialist and has been taken back from Blair's bunch of bastards. I have a deep hatred for Socialists and the ones I hate the most are cunt buckets like Corbyn. People like him have known no hardship, have had the kind of education true working class people crave for their young and have barely done a decent fucking days work in their lives because they have spent the bulk of their adulthood hiding in University bars chairing committees and generally advancing Politics to absolutely fucking nowhere. He is a cunt Tch! These Blairites are so bitter! -
James Varda's death was spoken of on BBC Radio Ulster's folk show last month. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b064zt27 5mins and 40seconds in, but do stop and listen to the song which follows. James Varda was a very talented musician, remaining as obscure in death as he did in life. Peace APW Anyone know how old he was?

Sad to see those two men go. They were both good types. They were the font of knowledge... -

I thought it was pretty mild and inoffensive. Bit of a let-down, tbh! These Texans, so polite... -

Tom Watson doesn't seem the healthiest chappie either. BIg lad. I wouldn't be surprised if Corbyn becomes the Pope John Paul of politics and lasts 30 days! -

Between 10 and 14, she'll want a platinum jubilee. I am still sticking to the theory that she will throw in the towel after Prince Philip dies and depart not long after him. Therefore, I predict she will slot in at around 39 on the table, just beating Byzantine Emperor Basil II. I had no idea...

It was only years later that I found out that the character (whom I had a big crush on when I was 4) was a MALE character! I was never confused... -
What do you have in mind? I ask this as I recognise that despite my efforts (I'm not a natural website builder I must admit), the site still looks like something from 2000!

The only person the press have been more sycophantic to in the last week has been Wayne Rooney, and I'd sooner haver her up front in the Euros than that Maris Piper lookalike any day...

For the record here are the obits the 184 confirmed hits so far in 2015 had to qualify: Now bear in mind that I end to "upgrade" to bbc.co.uk obits when they are available and that some of the other obits (such as the inevitable Daily Mail ones) often have other qualifying obit sources too (such as the Guardian/Independent etc). In numbers: BBC - 92 Daily Mail - 39 Guardian - 21 Telegraph - 17 Independent - 6 Yahoo - 3 Mirror/ITV/Express/Herald/Reuters - 1 each

Still doesn't address the imbalance. If the Middleofnowhereshire Times reports that's Joe Bloggs has died on their website then that currently gets filed under List of the Lost. If the BBC Middleofnowhereshire local page reports that Joe Bloggs has died on the website that currently gets filed as a hit. It's unfair, regardless of your opinion on state news outlets and private news outletsboth of these institutions are intended for the same audience, the residents of Middleofnowhereshire and as such will reflect fame as seen by people in Middleofnowhereshire. The current rules provide a situation where a mildly notable chap from Middleofnowhereshire could die and the hit would be missed because it was report by the Middleofnowhereshire Times, whereas a few weeks later a equally notable chap dies and the hits granted because BBC Middleofnowhereshire reported it. How's that fair and equal treatment of news sources? That was a actually a response to Pelican's earlier query about video evidence and nothing about the BBC. Nonetheless you've raised an interesting point about what is counted as an obit. With three months until the nomination period opens for DDP 2016, I hereby announce an Open Forum to discuss any suggestions or gripes or rule clearance matters regarding the DDP from next year. So, your suggestions/complaints please. I may take on board all, none or some of what will be said in preparation for next year, so fire away folks!

Next year the rule will be refined in that there has be a mention in writing that a pick has died, even if it is a side bar...
