It has been an odd year. A record haul of hits with less teams, but less teams overall have scored and only one (DQSP) has more than ten hits, whereas last year there were 23. And some of us seasoned pros have had a shocker. Next year seems intriguing as Sam Simon apart (and he might still go before the year's end) there's no real locked-down dead certs, so it will be interesting to see what the contenders have. Octopus has said he's retiring but never say never, Living End has tailed off so Spade (DQSP) is a massive favourite to complete the treble...

Some fine tuning of my team which I hope will do better than this year's fiasco. I think I've had more misses than hits this year...

Definite realignment of the series to be sure but then Dr Who has always done that. I didn't get all that antimilitary nonsense from the Doctor either. I was watching the Horror channel the other day and it had 'The Robots of Death' from 1977. Now there was a Dr Who story, the absolute business!

I was watching a Norwegian programme the other day and they were referring to the Victorian age in relation to their own country, so make of that what you will...

Why is it Aussies are always so harsh about Dr Who? They never seem to have a good word for it! Same with American fans. I've always thought they were more picky than UK fans, perhaps we're biased seeing as we make the show. I thought the last series was more consistent than series 7 but it certainly wasn't crap.
