Risen From The Grave (Or The Ashes)
The Yeti replied to Death Watch Beatle's topic in DeathList Forum
Antonio López de Santa Anna http://www.pbs.org/weta/thewest/people/s_z/santaanna.htm His personal heroism in battle, which resulted in having several horses shot out from under him and the loss of half of his left leg, became the basis of his subsequent effort to secure his power by creating a cult of personality around himself. In 1842 he arranged for an elaborate ceremony to dig up the remains of his leg, parade with it through Mexico City, and place it on a prominent monument for all to see. -

Very Ex nowadays.

His son Michael said on Thursday that his father had been given anti-biotics after doctors found internal bleeding caused by ulcers. Biggs has previously suffered a series of strokes, minor heart attacks and contracted scabies. He cannot speak or walk unaided, is fed through a tube in his stomach and has been admitted to the Queen Elizabeth five times. Michael Biggs told BBC Online: "The last time he was ill they released him from hospital early and he had to be rushed back, so I wouldn't be surprised if he has to go back again."

Blimey ! Where did all these 'guests' spring from ? He's dead. Sorry, but he is. And that makes him fair target for this site. We weren't denegrating him. Just couldn't figure out who he was. In the interest of balance, this site is actually British - or, seeming its rather southern bias - English. Vaguely heard of him, can't say I'd ever heard him. Didn't know you were French, M. Stats !

Er, this thread is for those who died BEFORE 2004 began. PS What's a shook ?

Your program has died ? Else why else do you think we would have an effing clue ? -
I'm told anthrax causes all sorts of problems.
-
Would that worry him ? - I'd've thought half the population seems to be out to kill him (the half that hide in the mountains).

I thought Mr AC Clarke coined that idea. Not to be a pedant, and here's my astrophysics degree coming into play (so, yes, I had actually heard of the guy), but, duh, ALL comets are named after their discoverers. Even if its a space probe. Its sort of written into the rules for these things. They are not named after anything else.
