I'm pretty sure that another cast member died a year or two ago. Unfortunately I can't remember his name, so there is the real possibility that I could be speaking shite. Not talking shite this time Windsor. John Costelloe shot himself in 2008. I'm sure there will be a post somewhere about it. Nancy Marchand who played Livia Soprano died in 2000. They computer generated her character for one last appearance I seem to remember.

damn... I suggested him for 2011. I've got to stop doing this... I'm pretty sure I killed Anna Nicole Smith, too.

Aretha Franklin has canceled her New Orleans Jazz Fest performance. This is serious stuff around here... you don't just "drop out" of Jazz Fest without a good reason. http://www.wafb.com/Global/story.asp?S=12404492

What do y'all think of Graham Crowden (actor, Waiting for God, inter alia) for 2011? He seems to have still been working as of 2008, and I have no other reason for suggesting him except that he was born in 1922.

I picked up these little gems somewhere along the line. Don't know if they're still available: http://www.answers.com/topic/dead-gone-1-t...funeral-marches http://www.answers.com/topic/dead-gone-2-t...-songs-of-death

Apologies all... I posted this under "Deathlist 2011" and it got moved. Didn't realize that there was already a Jeff Conaway thread! (although in my defense I DID search the "Deathlist 2011" topic for his name!)

Jeff Conaway, Kenickie in 1978's Grease, may not make it to 2011, but he's reportedly planning his own funeral after a nasty fall, brain hemorrhage, hip surgery, and nearly 30 years of drug addictions

FWIW, the Jade Goody thanatography was already on bookshelves in London yesterday! On sale for 1/2 price, I think, at one of the bigger bookstores.

FWIW, Jade Goody is reportedly going to have surgery to relieve stomach pain. http://www.popeater.com/television/article...-surgery/362746

We've got a nice little venue here that books some great blues acts. "Sir" Oliver Mally, Connie Lush, and Braindogs feat. Ian Siegal (a Tom Waits tribute) have all played here in the past year. -
This video just posted to CNN. Looks like she's getting lots of publicity (and I'm not sure that that's a good thing from what y'all have said!) http://edition.cnn.com/video/#/video/world...living.jade.cnn

Your Least Impressive Celebrity Encounters

* Met Jim Davis (Garfield) at a book signing at Marshall Fields in Chicago * Met Isaac Bashevis Singer at a lecture... He signed my copy of Zlateh the Goat "Love, I. B. Singer" * Met Kurt Waldheim as part of the first American delegation to meet him after elected president of Austria (dubious achievement I know!) * Had lunch with Thomas Hampson and a bunch of other famous opera singers (although at the time I didn't know who they were!) * Related by marriage to John Quincy Adams and Patch Adams -

Ex-pat Ami with a healthy interest in all things death-related (funerals, cemeteries, Latin) seeks like-minded folks. I think I've come to the right place! -
If Zsa Zsa Gabor and Hamid Karzai make it through 2009, they should be back on the list for 2010. And whatever happened to Ruby Muhammad?

Good call Death List! That Cronkite didn't pitch up for PBS's New Year's Concert from Vienna, this being his 25th year as host, is telling. http://www.patriotledger.com/entertainment...chor-of-concert
