Assuming life spans stay as they are (a dodgy assumption, I know) we may expect the last person from the 20th century to die around 2115. It doesn't take "at least two generations", but rather more exactly a century from now, or slightly more than three generations. regards, Hein Talking about life spans I remember my biology teacher saying the human body could probably live for maximum 150 years with some medical help (operations, medcine etc) and living a healthy life with the luck of good genes,I'm guessing were approaching that slowly and i think you will see a big jump in the longer we live with the decline of smoking . Humans could potentially live forever by stopping the cells aging or reversing them ,however wouldn't cells begin to break down after so many reversals kind of like photocopying a photocopy ?

Ethel is on my shortlist now. So no one born in the 18 hundreds from Britain is alive anymore, I think these deaths are sometimes alot bigger than a A lister or world famous person dying. Alot thinner around the shoulders and chest, i think he is a good bet for 2014. At the start of the year he could walk ,talk and eat unaided in 9 months he has lost all of them . Its very sad and i said this before but it's a truly horrible disease , i really can't see him surviving another 14 months.

I wonder if the newspapers are allowed to put their image and name all over the front page and sell it? Surely those girls can claim a cut or take them to court for potentially putting them at risk of violence or basically just making money off them. This is one thing I really hate newspapers for and thankfully people are waking up and not buying them at all .Newspapers will fill front page headlines with z list celebs or nonsense like this, but the slow privatisation of the NHS or the fact nearly a million people rely on foodbanks or real issues that effect everyone are pushed aside to a small part of the middle section or just simply not reported. Newspapers are there to feed information to the people on what they and the establishment want you to know and not what needs to be known. You only have to look at the way the news of the world acted breaking laws virtually everyday , hacking , hiding evidence ,lying under oath etc. We all know that the newspaper's played a part in keeping the whole jimmy savile and celeb sex ring under cover too, as in that one interview max Clifford said he made sure certain things were kept out of the newspapers. No one should support or buy newspapers there is no such thing as good truthful journalists anymore at these big newspapers , they all report their own biased view whether it be left wing or right wing .Last time i said this one of my friends said there is its called the guardian , please the guardian is very much establishment. They sold out Edward snowden and the majority of his files were confiscated he was well and truly set up by the guardian ,he should of just released them all online. Newspapers were set up to report the facts and the truth now they just report irrelevant nonsense or their own version of the truth . Rant over.

Surely there is no such thing as too quiet in this day and age. Living somewhere quiet is great because if you ever want some fun or noise ,traveling and visits to other cites/countries are the perfect time to be unquiet .

That is a interesting thought 10,000s of thousands of people all around the world vanish without a trace where do they go? I believe a large proportion of them are abducted by alien's. I'm a believer in alien's myself too much evidence and sightings it only takes one to be real ,the thing about alien's is people seem to think they are kind of mythical creatures. But even scientists say its near enough a guarantee they exist and if their civilization is millions of years old traveling the universe would be easy. People say well if alien's exist and visit us regular there would be proof , i think its another example of hiding in plain sight. That's my belief anyway .

He won't be getting out if he is found guilty of these new offences of raping children, Which i'm sure he will be. He will get 13 years minimum but that is just for one rape multiple rapes carry sentencing to 19 years,I expect him to get about 12 years though because of age. Until this post I thought they already closed down 2-3 years ago. They still have some stores around. The ones near me in the US have closed down and I believe the one near where I used to live in London is now a Tesco I wonder when they shut the final store ,will the administrator go 'THAT'S BLOCKBUSTERS'. If they do shut down i'm sure the sun will use that headline. I feel bad for the 2000 people that will lose their jobs but if they don't shut down now , they will in the near future its inevitable . Best close them down and get new types of businesses that can flourish and more housing built to reduce these waiting lists.
