It protects against discrimination on the grounds of religion or belief, where 'belief' is a 'philosophical belief'. Someones politics may be a valid philosophical belief, but not in the context under discussion. If you think I'm wrong, point me to the relevant section of the law (not the guidance notes).

I know enough about law to know there's no such thing as the 'Equality Commission Act'. If you think otherwise, provide references.

Which law is that? In British law, the provisions of freedom of expression are enshrined in the Human Rights Act 1998, (specifically Article 10 reproduced below): As paragraph 2 clearly states, it may may be subject to conditions, restrictions or penalties... etc.etc.

No-one has overridden freedom of speech, she can say what she likes; it doesn't follow that the owner of any particular service or venue, be it online or physical world has to give her a platform to do it.

Good to see Maggie FitzGibbon has got a proper write-up; i chose her on the strength of her Manhunt role, not realising she'd had an eponymous TV series over here. I've also just found out she was Miss Flanagan & Allen in Morecambe & Wise! P.S. Isn't Brett Sinclair a fictional character played by Roger Moore ?

This is doing the rounds on Twitter atm, the original We'll Meet Again recording. Just Vera accompanied by Arthur Young on the Novachord. This is the version familoar to wartime listeners. (Recorded 1939 according the blurb). It's not quite the jingoistic version we've been subjected to ever since.

Looking at Judy/Judith Bryers instagram, the age looks about right; the last photo of Mr. Bryer was posted October last year. She's got an IMDb entry, he hasn't.

  21. A well-known chain supermarket is selling a well-know Australian Shiraz at £6.00 a bottle; bearing in mind that approx. £2.50 of that is tax and duty, thats £3.50 for the actual wine; how much cheaper could it be - the producer, shipper and retailer are all (presumably) making a profit.

So .. What Do You Watch On TV?

There was a football magazine programme on Prime Video a few months back (called Back of the Net, search tells me) with Crouch fulfilling the ex-pro role. I hope he's improved since then!
