    Inverse Dead Pool

That'll teach me for starting it off in alphabetical order! Still, 25 under, thats a pretty good score for Seve... BTW, I think you mean DDT and Madame Defarge are the only other two players OVER minus 20 (Even though Madame Defarge isn't).

    Coleman Falls?

No sign of current Coleman. It looked remarkably like a eulogy (original sense) to me. I agree, everyone was speaking about him in past tense. Do they know something we dont? There was also a small snippet of Cliff Mitchellmore talking about him as well. Mind you, that bit was probably filmed about 20 years ago. I found it slightly strange too, everyone speaking as if he'd already shuffled off. To make matters worse, there wasn't even a summary sentence along the lines of "David is now 85 and living quietly in Runcorn/suffering from dementia/enjoying his retirement playing bowls".

    Uk Voting Reform Referendum

I see David Blunkett is urging a 'No' vote - Daily Mail, while Neil Kinnock is urging a 'Yes' vote - Independent. Besides the fact that any argument is immediately invalidated by appearing in the DM, Blunkett has succeeded in making a simple process seem impossibly complicated!

    A Joke

Its just been confirmed that Osama bin Laden was an Arsenal fan. Shortly after Sunday's victory over Manchester United, he was heard shouting 'Come on you Gunners...'!

    Margaret Thatcher

Interesting question. (The one about would you be just as happy etc. - not the 'does one get into trouble' one). Personally, I think I shall experience a complete feeling of ambivalence (after a fleeting moment of euphoria perhaps). I detest the woman with every fibre of my being for what she did to the country, so there certainly won't be any feelings of regret, as there may have been even with Heath, and certainly were with 'lesser' mortals, who to my mind, have enriched society, rather than the opposite. As you say, it isn't going to undo anything she did. Similarly, apart from a raised eyebrow, a-la Roger Moore, I'm completely unmoved by bin-Laden's demise.

Documentary on David Coleman tomorrow (Tuesday 3 May '11) at 9pm on BBC 2, to celebrate his 85th birthday. Quite Remarkable!

    Coleman Falls?

In a weekend which saw us lose Ted Lowe and Henry Cooper, the loss of former BBC producer Alec Weeks appears to have been overlooked. He produced the coverage of the 1966 World Cup final, amongst a multitude of other events. He was 84.

Whispering Ted Lowe... quieter than usual. On the day of the final too.

Adverts - you either love 'em or hate 'em

Oh contrare! I watched it last night and found it most off putting. Sorry but far to much corn. Now that would more appropriate if the crisps were corn based rarther than potato based. That was part of the appeal!
