Still, should be a good issue of the Wrestling Observer.

Rumours on Twitter that Inoki has gone. Japanese deaths always take a fucking age to get confirmed though, so expect an update sometime in mid-August.

Joe Tunnell closed.

Ha ha, you've killed me Greavesie.

Looks like we missed this one: James Burke, member of the Five Stairsteps, died on the 19th aged 70 from pneumonia. He was the last surviving member of the original lineup.

Ah man, that sounds a good watch. Will add it to the library list.

She'll absolutely walk a QO. For someone of my age (mid-late 30s) BIT were always a band you heard more about than you actually heard, but they were always mentioned, and mentioned early, whenever anyone talked about riot grrrl music.

I'm leaning in to the wrong birth date theory at the moment. This is him in The Sixth Sense (1972). Does that look like a 51-year-old to you?

Willy Ta Bi, Ivory Coast U20 international who also won the Primavera (youth) title with Atalanta in 2019, dead at 21 from liver cancer.

One Star Wars fan site lists him as "Jack L Rader". There's two Jack L. Raders over the age of 80 listed in California, the state where he was born. Worth checking up Darlene Rader, the wife of the first, to see if that brings anything up?

30th August had one death. I wonder what happened early in September that led to a massive flood of infections and deaths, outpacing the first wave of COVID? Seems like we'll never know. Anyway, time to get the kids ready to go back into schools next week.

Got around to watching that How to Mend A Broken Heart documentary about the Bee Gees the other night. Great way to spend two hours, but one of the talking heads for it was Studio 54 DJ Nicky Siano, and he looked like he was definitely suffering with something. Should be a straight-forward QO.

Joining the 100 club, Ken Casanega who was part of the inaugural San Francisco 49ers roster in 1946. Currently inside a living assisted facility and there's no quotes from him in this news story, only words from his son, so don't expect him to join the 101 club.

Out of hospital now. He's had kidney issues in the past iirc?

Bit odd that news of her death would be added by someone in Basel as well. -
Better thighs than Winehouse, in fairness.

He was to being an utter cunt what Richard Coles is to being annoying.

Still surprised he's not on the DL.

Raffaele "The Monk" Cutolo, founder of the Nuova Camorra Organizzata, Naples' most important gangster for a while in the late 1970s, jailed continuously (other than 18 months on the run) since 1963, the man who freed the politician Ciro Cirillo from Red Brigade kidnapping and the subject of Fabrizio De Andre's "Don Raffae", dead at 79.

Assumed it was a tribute to the year we lost Elizabeth Montgomery, Jonas Polk and Eazy-E.
