Move like I'm smooth like I'm Harry Belafonte

Beginning to feel like my monthly checks on Buck Taylor's health are a waste.

K-pop is funded directly by western governments in an attempt to convince North Korean teenagers to turn their back on communism and embrace the joys of shiny capitalism. Similar to how they used to send pirate signals of Dallas and Dynasty behind the Red Curtain in the 80s.

There's a line in the last WON where Meltzer seems to imply that Pat Patterson is suffering from some form of dementia.

Blackburn Rovers legend Tony Parkes joins the ex-footballers-with-surprisingly-early-Alzheimer's brigade. He's only 70 and apparently has been showing signs for a number of years:

Let's all do Pacino impressions. I'll go first. HWARRRGGHHHH

I mean can you think of anyone better to lead a zombie army?

Luciano Gaucci, one of Italian football's most legendary insane chairmen (and that's a crowded field), dead at 81. Tried to sign a woman, did sign Colonel Gadaffi's son (and, even more bizarrely, Jay Bothroyd). Fired Ahn Jung-hwan for scoring against Italy at the World Cup, also fired a coach for taking his dog to a press conference.

^^^ the man behind the Rural Purge.

Should get a QO for the DDP proper in time I'd have thought.

Stanley Holloway's little bit of bloomin' luck ran out today in 1982. -
I think D'Orazio might just get a QO solely because he's the last tie to 50s British wrestling still out there. Dave Kidney is an absolute con man fwiw, that documentary on him from about a decade ago is unintentional comedy of the highest order.

Carlos Rocha dead at 93. Meltzer said he was the oldest living name wrestler to have worked in North America, with Cowboy Bob Ellis (91) now the holder of that title.

Essential early 2000s "student cocktail bar DJ wants to show everyone how deep his crate-digging knowledge" core. Up there with the extended version of "You Make Me Feel" and anything from the Blue Note New Orleans funk compilation.

Should just rub some quartz against his temples, that'll bring him back to life.

James L Dozier is an interesting pick, would definitely be a fun obit to write. -
Is this the new gimmick poster?

I predict the grim reaper is going to be 'like a super strong enema 'in 2020

Peart + Kobe = Rickman + Bowie Is this a fair fame equation? -
Those of you who have any interest in (who was anti-semitic and who had a massive penis in) old Hollywood or Golden Era TV will already been listening, but for those who aren't: the in memoriam episode of Gilbert Gottfried's Amazing Colossal Podcast is up for 2019. Essential listening for anyone who has interest in dead celebrities, and I never knew that Charles Manson was indirectly responsible for Doris Day's hermitude.

Oh man I miss the days of the DeathList when we only talked about really famous A-list celebrities like Baroness Blatch and Walter Cronkite's wife.

Trying to think who else has had threads after death. Gary Speed, Avicii, David Gest... is that it? The first two were worthy in terms of "fuck, really?" out of nowhere-ness. The third... maybe not as much.

The important take is here:
