He was an actor, not a singer

And just seven months later, fellow internet feline sensation Lil Bub has also passed away.

Francesco Janich only played two games at the World Cup, but they were two of Italy's darkest hours: the "Battle of Santiago" in 1962 and the humiliation against North Korea in 66. Dead at 82.

OK, so I've done my research here and the best I can come up with is: he was 14 when he first played with the band Blackfeather in 1976. So he must have been born circa 1962, meaning he was around 57 when he died. I'm going with 57 when I update the DDP, if anyone can improve on that feel free.

Surprised she didn't get an increase in DDP attention after not being part of the Will and Grace revival.

It's been a fun two years but I'm leaving you in much more capable hands now. If there's any delay in the game getting up-and-running in the new year that'll have been my fault for missing some instructions somewhere-or-other.

Owned. Dunno how this has affected his BDSM hypno-harem.

Ahead of Jordan Peterson's wife?

I think we're on the level of quintuple-bluffs now when it comes to DDP misdirection?
-
I'd say no on account that you could still use that sentence to apply to someone who was still alive. Shame you didn't get a "late American filmmaker Barbara Hammer" in there...

Dunno, looks like he's about to get wings.

Not one for your longlists, but Steve Corino clearly enjoying the catering backstage at NXT.

One for the rule of "ALS sufferers either die in year 2 or year 5"?

Some places running with him falling over in the shower. Joins the great pantheon of those who died in the shower, along with Charles McGraw and Brittany Murphy.

Another gaffer for a mid-tier footballing nation goes. This time out it's Pim Verbeek, the Dutchman who helmed Australia in 2010 when they were eliminated at the group stage on goal difference. He also managed South Korea and Oman on the international stage, as well as Feyenoord in his native Netherlands.

As this site's resident hack, I can tell you that the traffic for all four of those deaths has been absolutely nothing compared to hits for people reading about the death of Godfrey Gao.

Only one person who could pay an appropriate enough memorial:

I'm not 100% on that.... I mean, would the drummer from Warrant get a QO? Or the drummer from Loverboy?
-
Yep. One of the more painful experiences of my life. Googled and, yes, there's an article here: Switzerland 0 - Ukraine 0: Remembering the Worst Game In World Cup History

Köbi Kuhn, played one game (which he was sent off in) during the 1966 World Cup for Switzerland, and later became their national coach, guiding them to the 2006 WC (as well as the 04 and 08 Euros). RIP and all that, but goddamn that Swiss side of the mid-00s may be the dullest international outfit I ever had the misfortune of watching. Up there with mid-90s Norway.

For those of you who haven't visited the site in the past 24 hours, the first sign of the changeover has taken place.

Another one off the 2020 longlist: David Gibson, the bakery owner who was at the centre of a row where he was falsely defamed by Oberlin College lecturers as a racist (he received $25 million in a settlement) has died of pancreatic cancer.
