Nicky Read back in trouble again, this time for exposing his dick at an arcade before inserting it into a coinchanger machine. While dressed as a jockey.

For those worried by the lack of a Clayton QO, fear not, looks like the Beeb will have one by the end of play today:

Had a few people get to the DDP site in recent days from googling "Evie Garratt dead". Nothing out there online, but a bit weird that there's been a surge (three people) in searches for it out of nowhere. I remember her best as "Nana Hill" back when Harry Hill was still funny in the 90s.

Shane Rimmer, character actor who was probably most famous as the voice of Scott Tracy, dead at 89. He gets the breaking treatment from the redtops.
-
Kōji Kitao, the bad boy of sumo who was banned from the sport after his stable refused to work with him (and he allegedly slapped his boss's wife), dead at 55. He then moved to professional wrestling, perhaps most notably in a match against fellow sumo alum Earthquake in which he decided it should be a shoot instead.

So I need to start prepping for Charon next round then. Eleven Sevco players?

German-language Wikipedia seems to think obscure actress and DDP pick Sonja Karzau died sometime between 1985 and 2017. -
Gonna be the saddest death of the year for me, unless Harley Race finally goes in 2019.

Morten "Mister Fatman" Lindberg, a Danish comedian and TV personality, has died aged 53. Of no interest at all on the surface, however he does have one legit claim to fame: he was the director of the much snickered-at title on IMDB, 1992's Gaynigg∈rs from Outer Space.

Trae Coyle - isn't he in Green Day?

His move to Juventus will surely put a lot of ageing Italian celebs on notice.

Yeah, I think these are the death rattles. Depends whether they let her go with some vague grace, have her pass some vague form of Brexit and step down in a few months, or they just go full-blown season finale and slit her neck by the week's end.

Tech 9, former URL battle rapper, died over the weekend. Not to be confused with the more famous, Eminem-inspiring Tech N9ne.

New look, abridged Theme Team League now live. All that needs doing now is some updating of the archives and that's the back-end sorted.

The Di-Dawg was first up to bat today in 2017, when Phife Dawg died aged 45 -
Northampton Town club historian Frank Grande dead at 70.

Long-time drain-circler Bishop Francis Quinn, DDP pick and no doubt a selectee on numerous other pools, finally dead. At the time of his death he was the oldest Catholic bishop in the US, which should see him get a Reuters obit.

Yeah, I’m 95% sure she really is dead. The only other explanation I can think of is someone stole her identity to further their porn career, and that person died. But yeah, I think Miriam’s dead.

Ernie Wise, who made the first ever mobile phone call in the UK, died today in 1999. As stated previously, it was his death that sparked my interest in deadpooling as a youth, so I suppose this marks my hobby's 20th anniversary. Here he is being history's first incel gamer: -
The first white record "released" on Motown was Nick & The Jaguars “Ich-i-bon #1”, although they never signed a full deal with Gordy. It really doesn't sound like a Motown track:

I really need to sort the theme team league out then, huh? Need to find a way of doing it that's less... fucking tedious than the current method. -
Thinking about a team for next year called something like "Close But No Cigar....", consisting solely of men celebheights.com says are 5ft 11 3/4.

Some great names up for grabs next round in terms of obits. Could be one of our more colourful months on record.

Territory era worker Roger Kirby dead at 79. Another one of the ersatz "Nature Boy" wrestlers of the 1970s, he had some big runs, particularly in the Central States where he won tag gold with the likes of Harley Race, Les Thatcher and Alfred Hayes.

MC Ren and Pete Sampras?
