Carlos Ezquerra, co-creator of Judge Dredd, dead at 70. I think this is a big death for people who "like" comicbooks.
-
Caught it. 202 hits so far this year, definitely on to break last year's tally, probably won't top 2016's 275 though.

For those who've never heard the full version of the "Rainbow" theme, it's a prog folk madness. -

Otis Rush is a unique for Death Impends in the Grammy winners category.

Theme team table doesn't update automatically and requires about 15 minutes extra work, which is why I only do it once a month or so. It's something I'm hoping to sort out with the upcoming redesign, although whether that's this year or next idk.

Manuel Rodriguez, who played two games for Chile in their 1962 third-place run (although he didn't feature in the Battle of Santiago), dead at 79. Was apparently the coach who spotted Ivan Zamorano as well if this Google translate works.

Was gonna be a smug here and say "Beep" by Pussycat Dolls, but that only got to #2.

If I'm correct, it's been a month since we had a joker hit in the DDP (McCain).

Stepping down from Inside The Actors Studio after 25 years. Still looks hale and hearty at 92 (could easily pass for someone 20 years younger), but people leaving shows in their 90s tends to be a harbinger of incoming death. We'll see...

One of the more optimistic DDP picks this year, a man who had his picture taken with an Aston Martin, died in February. Absolutely nowhere near a QO, but his passing was marked by the 1st Fenstanton and Hilton Scout Pack.

Dead now though.

Hey if you've got a problem with that, I got two words for ya;

Roger Mainwood, animation director who worked with Raymond Briggs on a number of occasions (including light-hearted laugh-a-long classic When the Window Blows and The Snowman), dead at 65 Also, Raymond Briggs surely deserves a thread? He's a very DeathList-y name....
-
I'm vaguely friends with a vague friend of his, from what I can understand via social media stalking he ain't dying any time soon.

Yep, it's gonna be a no deal. -
They can, but it wouldn't be a very enjoyable experience for them as they'd effectively have a ticking timebomb of disease and bacteria attached to their body. Chang and Eng died separately - Chang from a brain aneurysm, and Eng around four hours from blood loss (ie, his blood was still pumping into a dead person's veins but he was getting none in return).

Already on the site. Classy pick, one of my favourites in this year for research I think.
