I mean how many people liberate Belsen, write the most famous line in British movie history and also helped keep numerous Soho sex shops in business throughout the 70s and 80s? Respect.

Wikipedia lists 64 people of note as having died of suicide by firearm in the UK. Of those, only one is a woman (Dora Carrington). Has there really been no other examples of lady celebs ending it all with a bullet in Albion?

Turned on a documentary at random today and who turns up as a talking head but Dudley Sutton. Also in it offering their opinion was Arnold Louis Miller, Britain's first great porn director. Still alive at 96. It also seems to imply that Harold Wilson, Bob Monkhouse and Jimmy Hill were all custard cousins.

Victor Wong, who played the grandpa in Three Ninjas died today in 2001. He stayed up all night to watch news coverage of the 9/11 attacks and had a heart attack. -
Hot Rod claims to have defeated an attempted foreign-backed Maoist coup. Of additional interest is that he has withdrawn amnesty from Senator Antonio Trillanes, who should now be on your unnatural death longlists.

Walter Sabbatini, one of Italy's most storied directors of football, admitted to intensive care.

Patience! But yeah, there's an update.
