Nutella pizzas. We get it, you've combined two Italian things together that people like. And somehow turned it into the absolute fucking worst of both worlds.

It's cool (kool?) to spell things with a "K"

I'm pretty sure (location, date and an old Facebook profile all seem to align here) that this Chastity Frye who died aged 41 in 2017 is the same Chastity Frye who, while working as an escort, turned down sex with Seung-Hui Cho and apparently inspired him to commit the Virginia Tech massacre a month later.

Orlando Avarena dead at 81. He was the manager of the Chilean national team in the late 80s, when they finished runners-up in the 1987 Copa America and, much more famously, were banned from the 1994 World Cup after goalkeeper Roberto Rojas faked being hit by a Brazilian fan's flare and cut himself open with a hidden razor in an attempt to get a 1990 WC qualification match abandoned.

The obligatory post-serious-medial-issue article from John Crace for any form-spotters.

Was looking down his IMDB profile at his final roles. One of them.... for some reason in 2022 they decided to remake American Gigolo as a TV series with Gretchen Mol, Wayne Brady and Rosie O'Donnell. Unsurprisingly it was cancelled after one series.

Back in hospital according to his wife.

Jeremiah Farrell died on July 4, 2022. A mathematics professor, he created what is often regarded as the "greatest crossword in history", which ran in the New York Times on the day of the 1996 US general election and was able to be solved in two ways: However, no obit for him in the NYT, or seemingly anywhere else outside of this website.

Oh dear, look what they've done to the blues.

Posting here because he could go in about four different categories: Dick Allix dead at 78. Started off as a musician, playing drums for Vanity Fare including on their cross-Atlantic hit "Hitching A Ride". Then went into sports management, firstly with Eric Bristow. Then was involved in the great darts schism of the early 90s, eventually ending up as one of the PDC top brass and being an agent for most of the current commentators on the arrers.

A first mention on the forum for possibly a popular name in future deadpools, Haitian copper-turned-gang-leader-turned-military-coup-leader Jimmy "Barbecue" Chérizier.

As roughly 10,000 people have joked on XformerlyknownasTwitter, "looks like Cheltenham finally finished off Alan Brazil"

Charlie Bird is a hit here. Eric Dornfeld (typo'd by me in my entry as Dornfield) will be if he gets a QO, having died last night.

Always reminded of the teenager who died of alcohol poisoning following a "Hungry Eyes"-based drinking game (he did a shot of ouzo every time the word "hungry" is said).

Wonder how many other bands would manage that. Aztec Camera have 21 full-time (ie, not touring) band members with blue links on Wikipedia, but four of those are dead. EDIT: Blood, Sweat and Tears have 44 still-living blue-linked full-time members, including American Idol runner-up Bo Bice and the guy who wrote the lyrics for the English-language version of the Pokemon theme.

Let Us Bet On The Oscars 'in Memoriam' Package
Spade_Cooley posted a topic in DeathList extra-curricular
http://www.oddschecker.com/awards/oscars/last-person-in-memoriam Bwin has a market on who will be the last person depicted in the 'In Memoriam' montage, Prince 4/1 favourite, my boy Bud Spencer a 33/1 outsider. Surely Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds (together) are a lock? Except they're not listed ("other odds are available on request"). Is there any possible situation in which it won't be Fisher and Debs for the big rousing finale? If it'd just been Carrie on her own, I could have seen an argument for Gene Wilder or Michael Cimino getting the spot, but not when there's a two-fer. The last person in the "In Memoriam" package for the past five years. 2013 (2012 I suppose) wasn't a classic year for showbiz death, huh? 2016: Leonard Nimoy 2015: Mike Nichols 2014: Philip Seymour Hoffman 2013: Marvin Hamlisch 2012: Liz Taylor -

Of note he was also one-third of Hatebeak, the death metal band with a parrot on vocals: -
Character actor Gigio Morra, possibly best known outside of Italy as the guy running the clothing sweatshops in the original Gomorrah movie, dead at 78.

Someone claiming to be a journalist with O Globo claiming on Twitter that Dani Alves has killed himself in prison. Not exactly convinced by this one.

Unless Mel decided to become a recluse at some point in the past 10 months, long after COVID was a day-to-day threat, then this is just another internet "free-thinker" believing whatever he's told by someone else.

Rod Liddle (he's the fella that ran off and left his wife for a young one) never been the healthiest of men, mentally or physically, but he looks about one lunch-on-expenses away from a multiple heart attack here.
