Banks will be England's representative at the World Cup draw. Perfect form spotting opportunity.

Here's all the still-living Italian footballers I could find born before 1923: Francesco Cergoli - 22nd October 1921 (Juventus, Atalanta, Triestina, also managed Triestina) Corrado Contin - 7 January 1922 (Roma) Franco Pian - 16 February 1922 (Inter, Legnano) Luigi Bosco - 20 March 1922 (Juventus and was imprisoned at Nuremburg) Osvaldo Fattori - 22nd June 1922 (Inter, Sampdoria, 4 caps for Italy) Armando Tre Re - 22nd June 1922 (Roma) Might be alive: Omero Carmellini 28th January 1921 (three games for Roma) Vittorio Casaretti 24th October 1922 (Inter when they were renamed Ambrosiana under Mussolini)

Two years since BaaadDad Nigel Buxton went undercover permanently. -
Twitter rumour has him both at death's door and just shaking off a cold. Wouldn't risk it if I was playing in 2018, especially because there's much more credible reports of another hard-drinking cult indie legend about to check out elsewhere....

Ricicles leave the shelves, infuriating many of the "remember the 70s?" mob on Twitter.

Colin Collindridge (b. 15 Nov 1920), played 142 games for Sheffield United either side of WW2 Alf Patrick (b. 25 Sep 1921), 228 games for York City There's a few others that Wikipedia lists as "living English footballers", but with no evidence. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Billy_Nuttall https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thomas_Anderson_(footballer,_born_1916)

Kaepernick might be a worthwhile punt, and I like the 25/1 about Trudeau. But as I said upthread, it's hard to see an outcome that isn't "The Women of #MeToo" or something.

Much-parodied US radio host Garrison Keillor (also the voice at the end of the legendary "Cog" advert for the Honda Accord back in 2003) is the latest celeb in hot water over wandering hands. Probably been on a few longlists around these parts due to a history of strokes and seizures, and surely one of these #metoo guys has to drop dead next year?

Five years to the day, Grant's His Girl Friday co-star Ralph Bellamy died at the age of 89. Surely one of the all-time great faces in acting: -

How dead Cary Grant? EDIT: Apparently "How Old Cary Grant?" is an apocryphal tale. -
Elon Musk was my original guess, but they'll probably do one of their "non-named" People of the Year and give it to "the women of the #metoo movement" or something of that ilk.

Angela Lansbury wades into the sexual harassment debate with slightly less insight than Jessica Fletcher.

So Cecilia Seghizzi, Italian composer, ascends to the top of the list. Old enough to have been a refugee in World War I, she's apparently "still lucid" according to this interview from two months back.

Looking a bit The Situation in that pic: -
Executive chair of Provident, Manjit Wolstenholme, dies suddenly at 53. Either that or she's hiding behind the sofa with the lights off waiting for the Provvy lady to go away.

A large number of this "100 Greatest Wrestlers" poll by People In The Know last year could conceivable drop dead in 2018 tbh: https://sites.google.com/site/wrestlingscout/home/updates/pwo-greatestwrestlereverpoll-top100

Don Leo Jonathan may die in 2018, yes.

If you want to hear something truly awful, here's David's daughter Katie (now a vaguely respected actress) covering his banger "I Think I Love You". It's like a parody of early 2000s pop:
