I only listen to Lil Aaron these days.

Canadia's biggest band that weren't Rush or the Barenaked Ladies.

With Downie's departure, myself and Golden Slumbers both break the record for points won during a DDP season.

I think Octavio Vial might be alive? He's apparently a major club legend at Club America in Mexico, and this 2013 story refers to him in the present tense throughout. There's no story about him dying recently out there either.

Kam Fong got his Chin checked today in 2002. -
Burrhead Jones dead at 80. Surely would have been one of the last remaining wrestlers from the colour divide days?

http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/sean-hughes-liver-cirrhosis-kills-irish-stand-comedian-aged-51-1643321 Is this the place to discuss the rumours he was blacklisted from TV for fucking Jonathan Ross's wife?

The dungeon closed down today in 2003 when Stu Hart died, aged 88. -
One that would have made a potential DQSP shortlist for 2018 in other circumstances, Dave Bry has died. He wrote for a bunch of places but was The Guardian's US food correspondent for the past few years. Can't have been more than 45? Edit: 47, apparently.

Definitely dead, probably wouldn't even have obitted he'd died during a threesome with Kim Kardashian and Shergar.

Gonna throw this one out there: John Astin. Does he need a few more years on the clock before he becomes an Al Molinaro-type figure or is 87 old enough? Most recent news I can find is him lending his voice to an anti-fracking radio campaign earlier this year, no contemporary photo though. -

One of the "Three Wise Men of the East" in pre-Vince WWF, Ernie "The Grand Wizard" Roth, died today in 1983. His former client list reads like a who's who of wrestling deadpool picks as well: Kamala, The Iron Sheik, Ken Patera.... maybe not Superstar Billy Graham though. -
Akebono or Frank Lampard.
-
Terry Funk still wrestling at 73, still getting busted open hardway.

Not exactly knocking over many sacred cows in these recent posts. How about: Lead Belly - baby's first blues musician Charles Bukowski - literally unreadable and popular solely because any unemployed 22-year-old can drink a bottle of Sailor Jerry's and shit out a rough approximation of his writing style Pele - congrats on scoring 800 goals past semi-pro players in your home league and being too shit-scared to go to Europe to prove yourself against professionals

Still have a lot of time for that DM and Jemini album, which was his last underground release before he became the "crossover" rap producer of record. Fantastic beat:

Cho Jin-ho, played in South Korea's 3-2 loss to Germany in the 1994 World Cup, dead at 44. Up until the summer he'd been manager of Korean second division outfit Busan IPark.

Deathlist Dreaming

Dreamt that the hot topic around these parts and everyone's banker for next year's joker spot was a late 90s stand-up comedian called "Martin Rogaine", who had just checked into a hospice (in the Northamptonshire district of Earls Barton). I dunno if my brain was trying to pun on forgotten Irish boxer Martin Rogan or what. -

Ah, but play 100 people on the street "Wuthering Heights" and "Love Potion No. 9" and the results would be different. -
