Big few days for Silvio, the Berlusconi era at AC Milan may finally, finally, finally be over (unless these Chinese guys turn out to just be him in a Fu Manchu tache and rice paddy hat), and he's also joined a vegetarian campaign aimed at stopping Italians eating lamb at easter:

Q: WHAT DID THE FIVE FINGERS SAY TO THE FACE? A: Charlie Murphy is dead at 57 from leukaemia.

Michael Ballhaus, cinematographer for Goodfellas (and a three-time Oscar nominee for his work on Broadcast News, The Fabulous Baker Boys and Gangs of New York), dead at 81.

May, thankfully, be a whole lot of nothing... Marc Bartra hospitalised with some cuts to the arm, Marca claiming it was a firecracker thrown by over-enthusiastic fans. The idea that Monaco now have ultras confuses me greatly.

Watching the pretty mediocre/completely bullshit Amazon docu-drama on Hef at the moment. Couple of Hefner-aligned figures of note - We missed the death of Hef's #2 at the magazine's launch, Eldon Sellers, last year. Also Millie Williams/Gunn, his first wife, is still with us at 91.

See I had heard of him: he was the style columnist for American GQ for fucking ages and was apparently the person who coined the phrase "editor-in-chief". Post-whoring, man.

Off-piste tip here: Fin Martin, longtime editor of PowerSlam Magazine (the UK's foremost/only pro-wres publication throughout the 90s and 00s) has announced he will no longer be writing about wrestling any more full stop. One of the reasons the magazine ceased publication (back in 2014 iirc) was a battle he was having with skin cancer at the time. He'd almost certainly sneak an obit in the Mirror if he died.
