Plus how many "celebrities" have died of the germ in the past decade? Tommy Morrison (who was an Aids denialist and thought he could cure it by rubbing leaves on himself)... is that it?

People I Was Surprised To Find Are Still Alive

Ramblin' Jack Elliott. Released his first album in 1955, Bob Dylan originally was marketed (falsely) as "the son of Jack Elliott", the fact he's not hagiographed to bits by BBC 4 means I assumed he was long gone (lonesome blues), but he's still around at 84. -

I fucking loved Kimbo Slice and am inordinately more bummed out about him dying than Bowie, Prince or Ali. However, he really didn't need a thread: "homeless guy gets punched in the skull for a living, does steroids then dies" isn't really a narrative that will have many forthcoming revelations.

Thomas Chatterton, Lady Jane Grey, Richie Valens. Nkosi Johnson would have been a popular if morally repugnant pick for deadpoolers in 2001.

Parky's not on the new Sun Life adverts as well, whether that's because he's not up to it or because his place in the life insurance ad firmament has been taken by that nana from the Shreddies knitting promo idk.

Removal of unique pick as a bonus point gatherer?

Writing this down here so I don't forget to use it as a theme team in DDP 2017: Under The Wire - A list of people who have just turned 18 and thus are now eligible for DDP selection.

Thanks one and all. Mr Lewis is undoubtedly one of the least famous people ever to score in a dead pool, but he seemed like a top lad from everything I've read about him so hopefully he's mopping in heaven and looking after all the schoolkids up there (Samantha Smith, St Rumwold, the little girl from Poltergeist). Anyway, I would like my winnings to go to the ADHD Foundation.

Jerome Lewis is dead. Now to find a QO.
