Strange how Collymore is suddenly against violent acts of retribution against civilians for things that happened in Paris.

If Danczuk makes it through the entire parliament without resigning in a scandal/defecting to Ukip/being found dead with an orange in his mouth, I would be stunned.

I can see the need to exclude it though cause with BBC local obits being excludedif the former Mayor of Ipswich,Blackpool etc is excluded it would make sense to exclude Mayor of Aberdeen,Dunblane etc. Outside of ex Mayors, local politicians or maybe some Highland athletes I can't think of anyone who would get an Obit with one of those 2 Scottish papers but not BBC,Guardian,Independent,Sky etc. Gene Fullmer, US Boxer, did this year. I've already ditched my theme team cobbled together from the Paris telephone directory as a result of the rule changes. I don't mind either way, though it will be strange seeing teams leap up the scoreboard with 4 Anonymous picks! Good luck TMIB, bit of streamlining there. Sinan Samil Sam, who I would have picked without question if he'd made it to 2016, only got an obituary in The Herald as well. Presumably their obits chief is a big fan of the sweet science.

Christy Dignam sets about making the most DDP-friendly reality show of all time. -
I immediately thought of a political minded person there, but he's had coverage down south, and is probably more of a pick for 2017 onwards, short of complications. Are they keen on mountain climbing in their spare time?

Caitlyn? Or...Jack Or ... Pete Or...Cliff? Stuart?
-
I had a Famous For Being Ill (FFBI?) type on my long list for 2016 whose condition was only covered by one of the Scottish nationals, he'll get scrubbed now...
-
You just know him Joey Feek,Howard Marks,Kris Travis etc will all die Dec 20th ish to send teams scrambling Who the hell is Kris Travis....should I be paying more attention here? It's, um you know, one of those guys who runs around in brightly coloured tights and engages in sweaty grappling with other men in the hope of picking up chicks. You guys invented it. Spade Cooley needs him to die in the hope of being able to pick up chicks by telling them about his "DDP three-peat". tbf last year I celebrated my DDP victory by fucking Mike Burney's widow.

Daily Record getting the bumrush as well.

Dino Zoff in hospital with a "neurodegenerative condition", apparently stable.

At least the result will cheer him up

PoliticalBetting suggesting that a safe Labour seat is due to come up for by-election early next year. Rumours from the peanut gallery are either Huddersfield or Coventry NW.

Don't think you've "got" how people post about deaths in the build up to a new year's deadpooling m8

Lil Boosie coming from nowhere to get himself up in your 2016 DDP line-up after being diagnosed with kidney cancer.
-
Kicks off PMQs today by mentioning his principal private secretary, Chris Martin, has died aged 42 from sarcoma. Make your own The Scientist/Yellow gags here.

From what I can ascertain from various British wrestling types on Twitter, plus Kris's own feed, it's something to do with him being unable to keep down any food or liquids at the moment. Being as he has stage IV stomach cancer I'd assume this is due to a fluid build-up in his stomach? He's too weak for additional chemo, but maybe this is solvable with a stent idk. Any backseat doctors wanna offer their guesses?

The US median average hospice stay is 36 days. Which would mean him dying on December 30th. lol?

Kris Travis enters hospice care.

Great idea this. Would you welcome discussion of possible picks in here?

Hospitalised again and on "suicide watch" due to aggressive stalking. -
Would have thought Bellamy was a better pick than Attenborough tbh.

So, How's Your 2016 Shortlist Looking?
Spade_Cooley replied to Spade_Cooley's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
First nominal captain, Brian Lomax, barely made it to November. I have a second pencilled in at the moment who hasn't been discussed around these parts yet, but I make it 50/50 that they see 2016 tbh. Failing that, just gonna lump it on Joey Feek and forget about it. -

Do you know whats worse? Having one of those uniques, deciding to hold off on them the next year as they are clearly doing better than expected, only for one of those teams to sweep in and nab him... and get unique bonus points when he died! Think this happened for me with James R Young iirc
