Singaporean rockstar with racist name, dead at 73. -
Bryan Whyte, a darts player so irrelevant that the DartsDatabase website spells his name "Brian Whyte", has died in a car accident aged 34. Was ranked 164th in the world by the WDF, which translates to "fucking shit" in the total world rankings.

Well, who on earth would have thought an insurgent currency put together by a bunch of libertarian neckbeards would be unstable? Bitcoin's MtGox collapses, losing investors $0.5 billion.

Yeah, MacGyver was a great show.

Could have been one of the highest joker-to-pick ratios in DDP history if that campaign had've gone live a month earlier.

Nancy Reagan Or Barbara Bush In 2014?

These aren't very good threads. -
TMIB has, at this point, written more wrestler biographies than Dave Meltzer.
-
I think we should all resolve, as a thank you to T-Mib, to enter a wrestling theme team in 2015. Wrestling theme team mini league?
-
, Gough Whitlam, (these guys are household names over here) If you live in a branch of "Walkabout", yeah.
-
'Groundhog Day' director and Ghostbuster Harold Ramis dead at 69.
-
Can't believe he wasn't nominated for Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man or Another 9 1/2 Weeks.
-
"The Only Living Boy In New Cross" >>>>> "Swallowed". Fuck grunge.

Predicting which wrestlers are going to die is such a crapshoot, as the many theme teams with 20 men still left standing each DDP show. Even guys you'd think were bankers (Heenan, Graham, Gagne) show a strong resolve, then you have the additional problem of weird obit choices in The Sun (obituaries for Andre Williams and Oliver Humperdinck, no obit for Chief Jay Strongbow). Still think Kamala (legs amputated due to diabetes) has to be gone within 18 months, and Lord Littlebrook (care home confined, may even get Guardian/Times obits due to being British and wrestling back in the 60s over here) is another one to keep an eye out for. Then there's always some mid-card bums who decide life is too much for them and put a bullet through their skull the first chance they get... how's Pierre Carl Oulette doing? Savio Vega? Mark Jindrak?

Remember him this way

American essayist and baseball writer, Roger Angell, writes about what it's like to be in your nineties.
-
Classic guestpost! He was also Julia Sawahahahala's dad in Absolutely Fabulous.
-
If you watch the early 90s "Celebrity Squares" repeats on Challenge, a fun game is to see if you can get three-in-a-row of now dead contestants. Yesterday gave you Wendy Richard, Willie Rushton and Dame Hilda Bracket as a diagonal, with John Inman, Joan Sims and Tony Gerrard as additional stiffs.

It would appear that Barry died as a result of a fall at a Banbury Shopping Centre. I really don't think we need all the gory details of his death .Let's just remember him for what he acheived when he was alive Yeah, he was good in Red Dwarf and the Tomb Raider films. RIP.

James R Young, a popular pick among DDPers this year who do no fucking research of their own and just pick the still-surviving players from the top sides of the previous year, has died aged 61. No obit as of yet, so lol @ Diana Rots, Gary Glitter Baby Sitter and Coffin Dodger 69.
