Authors Last A Long Time, But....

according to the report. Elmore Leonard is 87. His family have been proven totally wrong. They've got shorty. -
Always get confused by which threads the spambots choose to target. There's obviously a formula behind it, hence why the Gazza one keeps getting hit up, but I'm kinda amused by the idea that elite programmers in Russia have come up with an algorithm that means "Shaw Taylor" is a keyword for them trying to sell blue dick pills.

Lee Thompson Young, who as "The Famous Jett Jackson" was one of the first Disney Channel "stars", has shot himself in the skull aged 29. He was also in a Sugababes video. A glam life.

Was already in my notepad underlined, highlighted and asterixed with UNIQUE PICK WHO NOBODY ELSE WILL HAVE DEFINITELY TERMINALLY ILL. Ah well, time to find more dying Hillsborough parents.

Yep. In fairness I'm a 1982 babby, so it's probably more impressive for you to guess that, insofar as she's always been legal for me. -
Maybe just training bras.

I don't think he'll like you calling him English, boyo. He's coming home.

Seen Any Good Films Lately?

Finally got around to watching "Jiro Dreams of Sushi" the other day. Fucking hell that's a fantastic film. Poncey as fuck, and you're best off watching it on a decent-sized TV than your laptop, but I can't remember the last time I saw a film that beautiful. It made me want to spend £300 on sashimi, until I looked at my bank balance. -

Won the jackpot (£55) for our team at the last pub quiz I did by being able to name the year Christina Ricci was born without thinking about it. -

I'd guess we may actually have a higher proportion of ADHD sufferers than the average website tbh, a weird mix of hyperfocus and the ability for the mind to store the fact that Kim Fowley has cancer but not the date of your mother's birthday. -

Terrible wrestler, but man he squandered his potential. As a little 'un in the early 90s I thought he was going to be the next big thing. But then, you know, lack of self-motivation + Vince seeing dollar signs in Kevin Nash basically fucked him up. Kronik also clearly one of the worst tag teams of all time. -

And to answer your question, most comedians would rather have a kids' TV show than an adults one these days when it comes to BBC contracts as the pay is the same and there's a lot less interference from networks. Which is why "Horrible Histories" is utterly amazing and every single BBC3 show ever has been terrible. -

Also, mediocre professional wrestler Lance Cade tapped out today in 2010 at the age of 29. He is thus one of only three wrestlers to have made their PPV debut this millennium to have died (the others being The Wall and Umaga). -

Unless Hans Island or The Kurils have pancreatic cancer, I'm not sure what this is doing here. -
Anthony Stokes arrested over "attack on Elvis impersonator" Dunno if anyone has any good Elvis/protestant puns, I'm too tired to think of any.

And dying today in 2004, DeathList hit and perennial punchline to jokes that involve funny-talking foreigners naming Ginger Rogers' dancing partner, Red Adair: -

A good one is that the Ramstein air show disaster (which killed 67 spectators and three pilots) was deliberately caused by sabotage in order to wipe out one of the pilots, who was one of many people connected to the Aerolinee Itavia Flight 870 disaster (in which for reasons unknown an Italian passenger plane was shot out of the sky by a missile from an unknown party) to have died at a surprisingly young age. So the conspiracy theory in order goes: French air force want to kill Gadaffi. French air force accidentally shoot down Italian passenger aircraft thinking Gadaffi is on it Italian and French governments cover this up Pilot involved in cover up starts to think about whistleblowing Italian government sabotage his plane at an airshow causing the deaths of two of his co-workers and 67 German civilians as well.

New update in which he says he "was" given three months to live, the cancer spread to his liver, colon and lungs, but is apparently now "on the road to recovery". I'm calling him as a late 2013/early 2014 death. Could be pretty significant for the DDP as well.
