Resignation confirmed all over the place. He has had a relapse and he made the decision to step down this morning. For someone to leave Barca this close to the start of the season... he must be a goner.

Actually, while we're on the topic, you can add: Damon Killian: adopted this username in April 2011, Richard Dawson (who played Damon Killian in "The Running Man") died in June 2012. I'm sure terrible Canadian rapper must be shitting himself looking at current posters here.

Well surely the smartest option is to pick a celebrity who is 18-years-old and guaranteed of an obituary (let's say, oooh, Belgian snooker prodigy Luca Brecel), make them your DDP captain, sign up here with that as your username and then bob's your uncle, 30 points.

WhereasGlee fans are more like Spetsnaz. http://s1.zetaboards...opic/5131776/1/ 23,822 posts since May 7th dedicating to proving that Glee starlets Lea Michele and Diana Agron arein a sapphic relationship. With every single photo, tweet and video of the actresses analysed so they can calculate if they're in the same city or not.

HB. I hope when I'm 95 I'm being kept artificially alive in order to boost the re-election chances of an AIDS-denying polygamist.

    Shove Off, Eh?

Disney Channel (I´m in the band, Sonny with a chance, Wawerley Place, Zeke and Luther) > Glee You ever seen "Bandslam"? Now that is a weird fucking movie. Half self-consciously quirky indie comedy, half Disney tween extravaganza. Ends with the band winning the talent contest by doing a ska version of "Everything I Own" by Bread.

On Glee topic, Jayma Mays is wifey material despite the fact that she's been in both "Smurfs" films, "Paul Blart: Mall Cop" and "Epic Movie".

Probably because you don't have teenage daughters or enjoy masturbating to lesbian cheerleaders. Surely everyone enjoys masturbating to lesbian cheerleaders. Actually, I'd never heard of him either and I wonder how many people listening to Radio 4 at 10 o'clock this morning had, though they still felt it necessary to mention his death. If you listened very carefully (probably on digital) you can hear the sub-text to the announcement: "We know that none of our dedicated Radio 4 listeners will have any sort of interest in this announcement but by informing you it will allow you to appear smug* and knowledgeable* in front of the chimpanzees you call colleagues. Tomorrow evening on Front Row Mark Lawson will condesceningly discuss the role popular music should play in television drama........ none whatsoever" * Smug and Knowledgable is just what is expected of a typical Radio 4 listener. Hey I got no problem with popular music on TV, only when great songs are butchered by a bunch of annoying teenagers Cory Monteith was, like, 47.

    Gangster, Gangster

Los Zetas leader Miguel Trevino Morales has been arrested. Probably the most significant arrest of an acting organised crime leader since Toto Riina almost 20 years ago, and should no doubt see increased bloodshed across Mexico over the coming months as people struggle to take his spot.

    FIFA World Cup Players

Rivaldo fell over, and Mick McCarthy made a face For some reason I retconned Rivaldo's collapse to 1998. Now I'm in my 30s, I worry I'm going to lose the ability to map changes in my life to World Cups (1990 was the first I remember, 1994 was the first I was anticipating before it started, 1998 was when hormones were kicking in, 2002 I was at uni, 2006 was my first year in the Real World of work, 2010 was when I had a career and shit). As said upthread, if you take out the first round and the finals, 2010 would probably be one of the best, but it started like a corpse and ended like one as well. 2014 will probably only be palatable if Argentina win and Brazil goes into mass rioting as a result. With any luck Messi will find time to call Tiradentes a "homo" before the tourney starts.

    FIFA World Cup Players

Surely 2002 is the worst by a long shot? And I'm not just saying that because it was the Azzurri's shittest performance (excluding 2010). Games at 8:30 in the morning, no over-riding "fan culture", forgettable winners in Brazil, rubbish runners-up in Germany, refball upon refball for the Koreans... really, other than Senegal's Cinderella run (and with that reference to Bruno Metsu we're back to deadpool territory again), what did that tournament have?

Unsurprisingly I've wiped the 94 final from my memory. All I remember is Baggio's successful penalty and subsequent celebration.

    FIFA World Cup Players

As an addendum to that grammatical zinger, I think that every player from the 1990 WC has now retired, with Kasey Keller (retired in 2011) being the last man standing. 1994 WC players still going: Viola (Brazil), Faryd Mondragon (Colombia), Teddy Lucic (Sweden). Not sure if Viola actually saw any action on the pitch though.
