Dead at people naming these 6/10 80s blockbusters and forgetting that Scott was behind "Domino", which truly is one of the worst fucking films ever made. Keira Knightley as a bounty hunter. Just think about that for a second.
-
He co-wrote "Kokomo" which, never forget, is better than any Beach Boys song Brian Wilson was ever involved with.

Well it's irrelevant for now, anyway, he's lost his case. -

Some further information about his court case http://www.wiltshire..._on_death_bid_/ He's showing no signs of going away. Well, I suppose technically he is, but you know what I mean. http://www.bbc.co.uk...health-19249680 I shall be awaiting the outcome of this one with bated breath...... Gonna be weird if he actually does get the go-ahead. If he does and a date is set in stone for 2013, will he be eligible for DDP selection or will that be too similar to executions? -
In tonight's Very Special Episode of Blossom, Mayim Bialik is in a car accident and loses a finger.

He's got his UK obit as well. Between Waddell, Dokes and Powell it's a big week at the top of the DDP standings.

Paranormal State is a show on A&E that is one of many shows featuring 30-something dudes in black walking around creepy places at night with a camera and freaking out over the slightest of noises. Of these shows, Paranormal State is probably one of the least watched. But it's still big enough to guarantee an obituary in the United States. I doubt he'll get an obituary anywhere in the UK besides the Daily Mail, but that's good enough to go on my DDP shortlist. Thank you for that extra information. I may keep him on my radar. In other news, Derek Acorah is a massive cunt. He's gonna be keeping us all informed and up to date on his Facebook page, although if he's already walking with a cane and having kidney problems, this may be a moot point for 2013 picks.

Michael Dokes was also a producer on "Indoor League". Big shove ha'penny fan.

Boxing forums saying it's a case of days not months now for the crazy rapist. 18 days to precise. One day too early for a 13th bonus, two days two late for a birthday bonus. A scumbag until his last breath. (updated with DDP-relevant obit)

Yeah, I thought that Twitter silence was a little sinister. RIP big man.

How good can they be if we have never heard of them. As the old Viz letter went, "If Max Clifford is so good at PR, how come everyone thinks he's a cunt?"

David Rakoff, Canuck humourist and contributor to all those whiteboy New York media institutions (NPR, New Yorker, Harper's Bazaar, Wired, Conde Nast Traveller) dead at 47 after a recurrence of a cancer that first hit him when he was 22.

At least he'll leave us with a song

His marriage has collapsed. Apparently his chemo is due to finish in September, a perfect time for him to report back to the national press on his suitably as a 2013 pick.

Rosie O'Donnell's lesby friend, Michelle Rounds, is suffering from a "desmoid tumour". Only 900 desmoid tumours are diagnosed in America every year, so she's clearly a very lucky girl. Anyway, our Rosie has reacted in the obvious way and wrote a poem about it: took mish 2 malibu / drove to napa / stopped in big sur / heaven on earth / it was a honeymoon / before the wedding / pure bliss / we laughed loved listened / then blink - it begins / on mothers day / morning pain / that won't let up. -

The Death List has always struck me more of a gentleman's pastime, compared to the professionalism of the Derby Dead Pool. The DL is CB Fry and the Old Etonians whereas The Living End et al are Alex James and Hughie Gallacher. -
Baggy-ass jeans at half mast, No Use For A Name vocalist Tony Sly has died aged 41.

INTERVIEWER: You once said the novel is dead. VIDAL: That was a joke.

Derbyshire would get online obits from all major British broadsheets, no question. Now to find how serious this leukemia is.

Subway vigilante of justice/racist nutjob (delete as applicable) who shot four black guys who tried to mug him/begged for change back in the early 80s.

Billy Joel is a hopeless alkie.

With the death of Sally Ride, only eight people mentioned in the lyrics to "We Didn't Start the Fire" are still alive: Queen Elizabeth II, Brigitte Bardot, Fidel Castro, Chubby Checker, Bob Dylan, John Glenn, Doris Day and Bernie Goetz. I'd guess that at least five of those are gonna outlive Billy Joel.
