Guess his license to ill expired.

Giulio Andreotti is in hospital, suffering from heart problems. Il Divo is an absolutely fantastic movie, although I do speak as a guinea so it might be confusing for people who need to ask "what has a skateboard got to do with Italian politics at the turn of the 90s?" every ten minutes.

First decent post on this board in months.

Nah, it'll be some guy from ECW that you assumed was already dead. Are any of the Pitbulls still alive? What about Sign Guy Dudley?

Good news for our man as a DNA test proves he's not the father of a child born in February. Looking pretty doughy in the face in the accompanying photos.

They were the guys who sang "Move Your Body", right? -
RIP, the filthy fucking paedo. Be interesting to see if he gets any UK obit coverage, I've got another poker player on my longlist for 2k13.

Can we get the assorted journalists and insurgents that have tapped out over the past week in here? It's currently being reported by some sources that Gaddafi's son Khamis has died after a suicide raid.

1956 flyweight Olympic gold medallist and latter British national champion Terry Spinks has died aged 74.

I'm gonna go on record as saying that Chopped Read is an absolute bullshitter of the highest standard.

Classic post, imho. -
So I was boredly skimming through the ever-fascinating Evening Standard and, among the other essential information contained in the diary was that Lewis is attending a society dinner party this week with Michael Gove, Stephen Fry and Barry Cryer. A great bunch of lads. Googling to find a link to this when I got home I found this blog, which is absolutely appalling and proves that the 1% aren't funny in any way shape or form, but if you're that keen to research Roger Lewis' illness over the coming months, it's manna for you. He himself is referring to the dinner party as the "Roger Lewis Memorial Dinner Party", so idk.

"A touch of skin cancer" is such a great turn of phrase.

National Enquirer got you covered like a burka:

Surely now the instructions on how to kill yourself peacefully and without causing any damage to your appearance/property, for the cost of a few chemicals and some insulating tape, are online, there's no need to fling yourself under the 7:21 to Whyteleafe South any more?

Bert Weedon: dead. RIP, A, E, Cm

He can show as many "flickers of life" as he wants: the dude is in the final stages of cancer. He's not about to fucking jump up and do guest judging on "The Voice".
-
tbh, considering how every DDP team that has even the remotest chance of taking the gong home this year has Gibb on their team, it's not exactly a death that's going to be rapturously celebrated around these parts.

World Cup-winning fly half Michael Lynagh is currently in intensive care with a blood clot on his brain.
-
He's had a benign lesion removed from his vocal cords. Apparently caused by acid reflux, which I don't think has anything to do with the lysergic experiences he probably enjoyed down at Big Pink. "Levon Helm is in the final stages of his battle with cancer"
-
Not a bad shout, although whether Mr Shakur could do "Seven Seas of Rhye" the justice it deserves, idk.
-
By the way, is there actually anyone who hasn't got this dude on their DDP team? Me.

What would they put? 12pm Dwina asks for some tea and biscuits. 12:05 Robin still in a coma 12:30 Dwina nips to the toilet 12:32 Dwina comes back, Robin still in a coma... It's about the same level of action you get in over-by-over cricket coverage.
-
Is nowhere doing a 24-hour rolling liveblog of his coma? Come on Guardian, this is what "open journalism" is all about.
