As noted elsewhere, will no longer be performing stand-up due to Parkinson's. Has looked like fucking shit for about five or six years now, really can't see him making 80 (five years away).

This has been the easiest pool to run in the history of this site, I think. Last year it felt like I was typing obits into the thread every six hours.

Nicholas Hoult and Toni Collette aren't the two most obvious actors to cap off Eastwood's career....

So the actors who played the heads of the five families in The Godfather Corleone: Marlon Brando (died 2004) Barzini: Richard Conte (died 1975, was apparently the back-up choice to play Don Vito if Brando turned it down/was too difficult to work with) Tattaglia: Victor Rendina (died 1985) Cuneo: Rudy Bond (died 1982) Stracci: Don Costello. Now Don Costello is impossible to research, as he shares his name with another actor who died in 1945. Costello also appeared in The Godfather Part 3 in a different role, but the rest of his career is basically B-movies. IMDB does mention he appeared on the public access show Stairway to Stardom in the 1980s, and as that show has developed a cult following among found footage-devotees in the time since, there are clips of him available: There's a comment under that video reading "RIP DON 1828-2014", which I assume is a typo, but 1928 sounds like a feasible year of birth for the actor... can anyone ascertain if the commenter had it down right?

Things that occupy part of my memory for no discernible reason: two members of hair metal irritants Skid Row had a spin-off band called Prunella Scales:

What's the longest hospice stay in deadpooling history? Kris Travis was admitted to hospice in November 2015 and died March 2016, five months. Bruce Langhorne was reported to be in hospice for over a year but I think when he died it emerged he was just on home care rather than hospice? There was that jazz critic whose name I've forgotten that seemed to be in hospice for a year as well (early DL Cup round pick, didn't die until the DDP the following year and even then I think nobody picked him) but I don't know the ins-and-outs of that. Frank Field and Malachy McCourt are obviously hospice graduates so I don't think they count.

Hey, some people did sourdough during early lockdown, I did this. I promise if we ever get another global pandemic, or I'm confined to a hospital bed for a week or so but can still use my arms, I will finish this off. -
C. Fish and C. King members of that very, very select group as well: people from Nottingham with a #1 single.

Irving Berlin is an interesting one. Surely the most famous person to hit the 100 barrier since the DL began who was never included? -
Is that the paedo or the fat one?

Not operating from a motor-racing expert position but a "pub trivia" position, iirc the Indy 500 used to count for F1 points, but it's not a Grand Prix. Goldsmith competed in the Indy 500 when it was part of the F1 World Championship tour, but not in any other races so he was never a grand prix driver.

We do have a thread for Ms Grande based on the Jonah effect she seems to have on people around her...

Not saying it's karma for spelling his surname "Jonze" rather than his birthname of "Jones", but...

Odd way of marking the occasion.

As I'm not running any pools next year (I've earned the rest I feel, plus it'll give me more free time to be really bad at Slay the Spire), I might run a Crowdsourced Wrestler Deathlist. I think we have enough learn'd fans of the graps here to make that worthwhile.
