Dick-pill hawker with a long list of made up and padded goal-scoring records Pele.

What put me off answering the call from on Bogdanoff II was the fact that some French press articles were talking about how shocked he will be waking up from a coma to find his brother dead, which means they must expect him to regain consciousness at some point.

Ron Gibbs: Father of Brandon on 90 Day Fiance. It was mentioned during the end-of-season tell all that Brandon wanted to move closer to him as he had "rapidly declining health". However, this has all the hallmarks of trying to be too clever with a pick so I dropped him. Sergey Galitsky: Russian billionaire, in the process (maybe already had idk) of selling his football team Krasnodar due to health issues. Seemed to suggest it was some form of rapidly advancing cancer but if anyone can keep cancer from the door for 12 months, it's a Russian with access to near-unlimited funds. Esther Lee: Is "Serena Williams' physiotherapist" a celebrity? Regardless, one of the many people I listened to interviews with (see also your man from the Psychedelic Furs and Timothy Keller) suggesting they expect to see 2023. Charlie Bird: "Doesn't expect to see next Christmas" but Irish journalists don't strike me as the most reliable QO path.

Skipped both of these, they were the already disqualified-in-thread Mike Mora and Robyn Free, who won top prize on game show Beat the Chasers earlier this year.

Hoped for uniques: Bill Steel: former Corrie actor and continuity announcer in the Tyne Tees region. Has been in end-of-life care since at least last March, and not mentioned on this forum so far. Could easily fall shy of some Corrie theme team picking him though. Alyson Williams: R&B singer, thought I'd take a punt on one COVID intensive care type. Been mentioned on SoulStrut though so probably won't unique. Isabel Torres: maybe the only QO risk I've got, Spanish actress and trans rights activist. Her show, Veneno, is showing on HBO Max globally though and I think the trans angle will get her a QO. Again, her cancer has been discussed on some English-language websites so could easily be on 3/4 teams. Sister Catherine Wybourne: Old school DQSP pick, but those who follow her on Twitter will know she is "cleaning up her sock draw", slang term for getting your affairs in order prior to an imminent death. Will not see April. Traci Braxton: If I call this right it'll be one of my best picks ever, saw one reference to her being in hospice care on Twitter, from someone who further research suggests does know her. Didn't appear in a Braxton family group Zoom chat over Christmas, and her Instagram photos haven't shown any fresh photos of her for months.

Her 2022 goals? Walking walking walking.

White people ruining everything as usual.

What about Calisto Tanzi, notorious Italian businessman behind the largest bankruptcy in European history?

Kudos to the Mousse.

Chalk me up as another Billy Turner DDP picker. Seattle Slew was the first (and still one of only two) racehorse to win the Triple Crown while undefeated, was never any doubt he'd QO. Apparently they expected him to have weeks to live on Wednesday, which changed to days on Thursday, and then changed to hours on Friday morning, so it seems he came off the pace in the final furlongs.

My sympathies to deadpool administrators dealing with substitutions worldwide.

Dove Windsor could be this generation’s “The Demon” James Harrison OBE, and I personally am here for it.
-
Goddamn deadpooling really is a young man's game, how does anyone over the age of 40 find time to research? I've got my 20 together now having discovered that one person who I thought was a 100% guaranteed unique pick death actually has a very treatable form of cancer. Think I might bring back The Rookie Draft as my theme team this year.

It's Big John Henderson!

Could be entering the 2021 DDP with Sean Lock, Paul Ritter and Nikki Grahame.

Assunta "Pupetta" Maresca, beauty queen-turned-Camorra figure, dead at 86. Made international headlines in the 1950s when she murdered the man who killed her husband, Camorra don Pasquale Simonetti.

Simple pool: pick three celebrities you think we'll see handling raw meat during 2021. Points are as follows: Globally recognised photo agency (Getty, AP, UPI, whichever) publishes a photo of your celebrity handling raw meat: 10 points Celebrity publishes social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Tiktok) photo or footage of them handling raw meat: 5 points DDP QO source contains print mention of your celebrity handling raw meat: 3 points Your celebrity handles raw meat on national television (footage must have been recorded in 2021): 1 point No points are awarded for cooked meat. Points can be awarded from different categories for the same incident (so if Yannick Bolasie publishes a snapchat of him making meatballs, and The Sun then does a story about it, that's 8 points). However, you can't get multiple points from the same category for the same incident (no matter how many Snapchats Yannick Bolasie sends, it's still only 5 points total from the social media category). Double points if the raw meat in question is a lamb chop. Any celebrity who is a chef by professional, has previously published recipes as either an amateur or professional, or is taking part in a televised cooking contest/show is disqualified from entering. If any of your celebrities die from salmonella, campylobacter or other uncooked-meat-related food poisoning, you lose 500 points.

Also will definitely be annoyed if anyone picks [father of British reality TV graduate turned TV presenter] on the grounds he was a famous musician beforehand, when they didn't even release a single or have any notability outside of "here's a list of 500 Merseybeat bands" wiki pages.

Predictions for the 2022 DDP: very high-scoring year, due to a number of imminently playable sub-50-year-old names floating about. However, I'm also expecting it to be one of the least diverse DDPs of all-time at the top end, as I can see all the challenger teams sharing at least... 10 names? The whole tournament could well be decided on someone who finishes 145th selecting celebrity X over celebrity Y and sending them into 40th place on the Drop 40.

Hugo Maradona, Diego's hang-on brother who managed to scam a career as a professional, dead from cardiac failure at 52.

Looks like either a) there's a COVID outbreak among the WWE roster or b) they're panicking about there being a COVID outbreak and are locking half the roster away to prevent future PPVs being screwed.

He was 71. Someone who was 50 would have struggled to write for The Cosby Show.

Had him in my draft 20 as well, back to the drawing board we go.
