Scabies hardly seems worth mentioning, stacked up with the rest. Oh, I don't know. Lying in bed, after a heart attack, unable to move your hands to scratch the itch because of the paralysis from the stroke - I think scabies could become a major problem.... Afraid it was neither. It was a big story up here (local interest and all that) - Dr Clarke had apparently been suffering from depression for a number of months, and only recently returned to work. When he didn't turn up after leaving home as normal, a search was undertaken, and his body was found at his home in Cove, which is about an hour from Edinburgh. So, cause of death has been classed as suicide, with no foul play involved.
