err, Somalia? Yugoslavia - where the US 'accidentaly' bombed the Chinese Embasy? Not to mention air strikes in Afghanistan, Iraq, Sudan - for the same reasons now given by Dubya - weapons of mass distraction. Unless you were female Well, as a bleeding heart liberal, I would have to agree. But lets not let your political viewpoints blind us into thinking that Clinton was some kind of god who could do no wrong. He may have been better than Bush (either one), but deciding to bomb Sudan and Afghanistan on the day that Monica gave her testimony seems little more than trying to use war to keep her story out the news - and shows a total disregard for life, innocent ot otherwise.

Is it safe to assume then that you are French, German or Italian, cos that last comment doesn't sound like it could have come from an American or British person

I suppose it is too much to hope that you work in a US prison, and her final appeal has just been refused

So, Paul Simon will be okay, as you can call him Al - but God help anyone else white. Is that the example to the free world you mean, James? Justice based on song titles? [Edit:] Just heard that Al Gore has read this thread, and is heading to Zimbabwe to stand for President. Apparently he feels they have a fairer electoral system there!!

It is reassuring to see that you have worked through the five stages. The news of her death reached us last week (see this thread), and in our own ways, like you, we have been trying to find that stage of acceptance. Never having heard of her prior to her death, I am happy to report that I jumped straight to the final stage

Do you have inside information on anyone else that you would like to share with us? Nominations for 2005 are being gathered now

Scabies hardly seems worth mentioning, stacked up with the rest. Oh, I don't know. Lying in bed, after a heart attack, unable to move your hands to scratch the itch because of the paralysis from the stroke - I think scabies could become a major problem.... Now, apparently we have a major problem with headlice at the local school. Does anyone know if they travel well in the post - could just be the final straw? PS - Is it an arrestable offence to try to harvest head-lice from schoolgirls? And does anyone know if Ronnie still has hair?

And lets not forget the guy who played Dr Legg - he's looked about 70 since Eastenders started, and was last spotted at Mark Fowlers funeral (not that I watch it!). Perhaps they are all related to Clive Dunn

You should have guessed they had inside information when they picked themselves

Typhoid Harry's Obscure List Of Dead People
Teddy replied to Typhoid Harry's topic in DeathList Forum
Afraid it was neither. It was a big story up here (local interest and all that) - Dr Clarke had apparently been suffering from depression for a number of months, and only recently returned to work. When he didn't turn up after leaving home as normal, a search was undertaken, and his body was found at his home in Cove, which is about an hour from Edinburgh. So, cause of death has been classed as suicide, with no foul play involved. -
And if we all visit and rate this site a 4 (WOW), we could push that rating even higher Between that and Harry's post, I think we could annoy them big time - that would teach them for calling this site Weird!

I hear the attractions at Neverland are similar to those at Disney in that they have height restrictions. However, whilst those at Disney say 'you have to be over this height to ride this attraction' the ones at Neverland say 'you have to be under this height to ride Michael Jackson'

If I were a gambling man, I could probably make a lot of money with a bet on that. Care to put your money on the table??

From the BBC report Does that explain why Justice is normally shown wearing a blindfold?

Reagan wasn't an idiot ? Now now Yeti, let not start being silly

Another Nobel prize winner bites the dust. It seems very timely that with the sudden outbreak of poetry in the pages of the forum, Czeslaw Milosz has realised that he can no longer compete, and slipped quietly away. I look forward to Poetry Man's lines on a fellow poet, and wonder if he could follow the style of Milosz, and compose it entirely in Polish

Would you care to enlighten us as to the medicine? Or even let us know if there is a sudden cancellation - would give us a head start on any breaking news

Should Typhoid Harry have the poison frog avatar ?
Teddy replied to Stayin Alive's topic in DeathList Forum
Almost as much as the discussions about poison frogs that seems to have cropped up during the relationship. Lets review the evidence. Toxicologist -> poison frogs -> ex. I can sense a link there somewhere.... -
An inspired choice, although you may wish to rethink your opening lines and adopt the standard So, Farewell then.... But in common with Stayin Alive, I hope we continue to see more cultural input into this organ

Rude Kid - you should also have added that it is good to see someone who knew the pickee, and yet doesn't rant and rave about this site. So many people who visit seem to believe that we wish ill on the nominees, instead of accepting that everyone passes away at some point, and all we try to do is forecast when.

Good to know there are other deathlisters out there who appreciate the hard work of the Committee. Makes a change from the more usual tirade we see here Now that you have found us, keep checking back. There are plans afoot for a Deathlist game (name still to be decided) which you will be more than welcome to join - and pit your skills against the growing family of 'sick and twisted people' who visit this site

From the article Truely a case of time running out for him....

An interesting quote from the article I hear Shaggy is heartbroken...

Things to do while waiting for Death ... 2004
Teddy replied to Grim Reaper's topic in DeathList Forum
And to think, that it probably the closest weatherman90 would get to a real woman -
Ah, but not so eloquent. It truly captures the passion, not to mention the intent, of the author - difficult given the fragmentary and semi-incoherent nature of the original. I look forward to your translation of the Dead Sea Scrolls - please reserve me a copy (signed if possible) Teddy PS - I have an email from a friend in Newcastle. Can I forward it to you for translation? Oh, nevermind, just read that Geordie is still indecipherable
