True but the Cornwall Combo is known for teams fulfilling fixtures, with games going and being scheduled until 31st of May if needed. It’s the largest junior league in terms of size in England with 20 teams still but the football is a good standard tbh. Ill see what Portreaths results were but I think they were all played -

There’s been a few in Devon and Cornwall - most recently Madron who lost one game against the mighty Illogan reserves 55-0 in 2010. Also Marazion and Ludgvan in the Cornwall Combo were pretty poor getting -200 goals frequently. The worst in recent memory was Portreath FC -254 (see table below) On terms on senior teams the last two years of Weston St John in the Somerset league 2004/2006 were pretty dire. -

And now for playing an ineligible player they’ve been deducted 9 points. So now on -9 -
A work colleague has gone vegan and gluten free. Shes not stopped saying ‘I’m gluten free’ and ‘Is it vegan’ at meal times. No it’s beef burger cooked in lard in a cheap bread roll love. Take your pick .....

She’s planning on having ‘Bridge over troubled Waters’ at the funeral????

I was lucky to see her last tour at the MEN in Manchester in 2015 and whilst she was very late, moody and generally what I’d expected as I’m not a fan, the show physically fit a women her age was amazing. So unlikely she’ll go soon via natural causes. On plus side my Grindr was busy that evening ☺️

Thanks MSC, my knowledge of cancer sadly is always at stage 4 and in months so your info is appreciated.

I’ll say this, but that treatment has got her to two years which is the normal extreme of lung cancer diagnosis. Clearly draining her lungs is assisting her life span. Im also guessing that this was isolated as a primary site given that if this was secondary she’d have gone by now. Whilst a tad frustrating deathlist wise, does anyone have any ideas how long past 2 years the medical extremes can go on for?

Gyms. Having stopped smoking (again) and in a vain attempt to stop inhaling chocolate as substitute- I joined local gym. I hate it. Mind you I must be the only person exercising this morning listening to the Archers Ominbus ☺️

Having suffered from depression for over 10 years, and taking 5 tablets a day for that and anxiety. Having said that , I’ve always been open with regards to it with family and friends so when things go awry- like they did last Summer, they can intervene. Having said that , death does and doesn’t scare me. It’s the manner of going. The pain of cancer scares me the most having seen that with my Nan and Aunt. But equally I saw my Grandfather who was a miserable man turn into an even worse human as he lived through his 80s and into his 90s. Oddly my Dad at 74 is slowly turning more grumpy with ailments so I can see him going the same way if he lives that long (given the genes it’s likely and he’s never smoked and rarely drinks). If I get to mid 70s I’ll be happy.

Did anyone find that story about a Dad grieving at the wrong grave of his daughter a tad odd on the BBC website- if only that it was a communal grave?

Meanwhile in the Lowland League this seasons basket cases / cannon fodder are going to be Selkirk. Lost 10-0 in first game last Saturday. Sacked manager Sunday. Lost 8-0 midweek. -

Yes a sad loss- she was fab as evil Ursula Titchener in The Archers last heard in January. Crossroads cast (64-88 version) is slowly declining. -
So bit of a weird day at work. Turns out a Work colleagues husband died at his place of work yesterday. By twist of fate a friend of mine was in the factory when it happened so I knew perhaps before a lot. I sadly know the true actions behind this death (pretty gruesome when a 4.5 ton load is involved) so bit my tongue a bit when the stories started but my mate, a bloody good block who could deal with most things is in fucking pieces. Whilst I’m not good friends with this work colleague (far from it tbh) and I met her husband once- it’s a kick one of us we all limp feeling at work. Life does change in the blink of an eye.

From memory when the Queen Mum died, it was announced after 5pm even when she’d died at about 2pm? Id just got home from football so it must have been after 5
