Whilst not human, sadly I have to have my baby girl Tamsin a staffy/lab cross to sleep later today. She’s nearly 14 and in pain and is struggling to breathe. She was my first dog and I’m in pieces at the thought. But I know it’s for her best and I’m being cruel if I keep her going. Still sucks mind

Just watching the same programme now and yes it’s got that feeling she’s sadly going downhill slowly rather than rapidly. It’s been a lovely gentle series but like MSC said it could be the last one. It’s got that feeling.

Christ when I was his age I was the happiest I’d ever been in my life. Gay clubbing with the happy simulates (I’ll have an E please Bob), 4 nights a week basically getting into relationships and having fun with my mates. Its only now we’re in our 40s that life has calmed down and we moan a bit about the bills and the price of beer. The only drugs we do are on prescription. Lord knows how this Happy Crack is going to cope with middle age if he’s depressed now. If his music is now thank god for clubbing in the early 90s through to about 10 years ago.

When your ex was in ICU like mine was last week, you really understand the beauty of skilled nurses who look after dangerously ill patients. To comfort even me when they are monitoring my ex following sepsis and being in a coma. Yes I’m next of kin to my ex. Because his family situation and he’s my best mate in the world. Some people call it daft we can’t be together but hey that’s life. sadly he’s lost all the skin from his stomach as the attached shows. But he’s alive and getting better thanks to those nurses in ICU
