One discovered while updating a list for @Ulitzer95 (spoiler alert for the future, there): Gudrun Parker? Big name in Canadian cinema. Born 1920. Still alive in 2014 to give an interview about her career. Her husband died later that year. Can't find anything since. Alas, Canadian death records are impossible to get but you'd assume a BAFTA winning documentary maker would get an obit in her home town press and I can't even finish that sentence with a straight face given some of the obit misses in recent years.

There's always a DL name going around the tournaments. The Casey Kasem final saga kept lingering on during a quite exciting period of games at the 2014 World Cup, and Lord Carrington snuffed it in 2018 on the day of the France/Belgium semi-final. Jane Sherwin I went to such odds to find her year of birth (1932) last year it felt a shame to put that to waste. June Bland one of those "still alive" names - only 91 this year but always looked older in her career. She also left acting to teach it. She's in Earthshock alongside David "camp Cyberman" Banks, Matthew "Young Willz's first crush" Waterhouse and a hard nosed space commander played by, err, Beryl Reid! As for Mary Peach, BAFTA nominations, shagged Patrick Troughton, nearly an Avenger - quite a life!

The Francoise HARDY ones are new names from the 2017 game which was the only one to ever use that style. We, by which I do mean Reptile, tried to fix this in 2020 and 2021 but the system just wasn't having it. Alagiah a side effect of the game engine deleting him entirely last year.

Also with Spade, the Deathlist, Skunk, JoeRam, Reptile, DI, Dr T, OoO, Salmon Mousse and DDT playing, we have 10 former DDP champions in the 2022 game, shattering the previous record of 7 in one year. Which I think is cool.
