imdb has Telfer as divorced from Bonnie Bedelia the American actress! I think they might be confusing him with Canadian musician Jay Telfer who died in 2009 on that particular factoid!
-
I can put a face to James Telfer below with a big of rummaging through these names. He's Kenneth, the shop owner who commits hit and run in Hostile Witness, the Taggart with Robert Carlyle in an early role. Donalda Samuel is in a few memorable episodes but I think she plays very small roles.

After crowdfunding his way to the big poker tournament, he got beat in the very first round by sounds of it. I can bow to folk who know poker better like Spade but this sounds like he was a nobody?

Nah I don't trust our MPs enough to do that!

Norwegian actor Vegar Hoel has died aged 48 (Norwegian paywall link). Far better known in his homeland, but he did have some international fame as the lead actor in Dead Snow and its sequels. They were a bunch of cult B-movie horror films about zombie Nazis attacking some couples on a romantic getaway. The sequel involves Hoel's character raising a zombie Soviet Russian army to take on the dead Nazi stormtroopers, while he tries to bring his girlfriend (she died) back to life. It's the sort of kitchen sink drama stuff we've been missing in modern cinema, really. -
Yeah, tbh I think "DL experimental" is more PGA Tour winning golfer Weiskopf, notable Labour politician Field type names...

Irish banker Sean Fitzpatrick, aged 73. Was one of the key men in Irish banking with the Anglo Irish Bank for decades until his bank went to the floor in 2008 as part of the recession, which was more keenly felt in Ireland due to, well, even more incompetent bankers and politicians than most. This led to one of the calmest newspaper headlines of the century. Incidentally, Michael Fingleton's meant to be in poor health too.

Allow me to be controversial. I do not think the Cmme will go anywhere near this pick, they didn't go for better known European leaders the past few years. More likely to be a DDP name.

It is however a very useful live example of the difficulties for the climate change lot. You can have millions of folk adjusting their actions to try and help, and one selfish bastard can undo all of that on his own. -
Have heard she absolutely has Stage IV pancreatic cancer now, very sad for all royal fans...
-
Toast's topplers seem more dangerous than mine, and tbh if any of mine were to go most folk would prefer it to be in 2022 after a well publicised decline to get them on the DL.
-
Not someone I'd pick on the DDP myself but her luck is going to fully run out sooner than later. And on cue, we should get the latest fuckwittery from Marty Jannetty by the end of the week.

Now, now, drol, how can any of us know if the female lead in one of the biggest international hits of the 60s, which is still a pop culture meme today, would QO?

Historical novelist (always mix her up with a romance writer, dunno which genre that insults more tbh) - not my cup of tea though. Sold like hot cakes back in the day though.

@YoungWillz Cynthia Heimel in 2018?

Got the surgery but apparently without chemo it's a limited run use. Useful information going forward imo.
-
Rose Tremain interview in the Telegraph last week, about her cancer issues. Confirms she still wont have chemo as it would stop her work. The interview ends on a cliffhanger for deadpoolers:

Huh, Caroline Dinenage (Tory MP) is the daughter of Fred Dinenage. That's nowt to do with you, just a curio I never twigged before, as the no name Tory MP for Gosport doesn't show up in my thoughts! (Actually I was looking up the Tory MPs curious by this and there's so many of them I have genuinely never heard of. And I like to think I keep an interest in the political world!) -
The living four ever presents (watch them snuff it overnight now) - Gorbachev, Jimmy Carter, the former Pope Benedict XVI, and forum favourite Leslie Phillips! Right, now you can vote or demand peer pressure support for your favourite picks...

tbh this is a bit like one of my long standing ideas I never used (basically a sort of deadpool version of The Chase). I may put in a team if I remember but it'll be the usual suspects to start off, so I don't give away my hot DDP tips that everyone else knows anyway!

Surely Cowell would publicize the shit out of any "my brave cancer fight"?
-
New Channel 5 documentary on 70s music and Don McLean looks like utter shite.

People who have been the killer in an Agatha Christie adaptation will be free, as I wont be reusing the Curtain theme team.
