Am I alone in my belief that Natalie Wood probably wasn't murdered? I assumed from the evidence that Wood and Wagner probably had a big domestic (wouldn't have been their first) and both stomped off in a huff, but because booze was involved, Wood managed to fall off the boat. Hence Wagner's "guilt" is more about having the fight which led to her death, not through murdering her. And Walken doesn't say more because he doesn't know it, through dozing off or being blind drink or whatever. Seems more likely to me than the perfect murder script...

Well done Wee Jum. I agree with time, England did far better than I expected, a lot of their players did well, the poor lad should never have had to take such a crucial penalty last night (you could see the fear in his eyes), and the government are a bunch of fuckwits.

Geoff Hurst just showed up on the BBC Euro final coverage and still looks bloody good. Chatty, memory working well, standing without aide, short of accidents or sudden cancers he's got a while to go yet.

Deborah James, who I am salvaging from the OFFBI thread given she is a journalist and was pre-illness so let's not jump the shark. Anyhow, her cancer has started spreading again , and last week she had to have emergency surgery after suffering liver failure, and her medication started to fail. She now has cancer in the liver, guts, lungs and bones.

I just assumed the Track and Trace was faulty and that all of you buggers were potential death carriers.

*The thread of the Recently Shagged is what we're now calling it. Awaiting mod approval on that one!

Always felt a bit on the fringes of potential DL names. Surprised she's still going - there was surprise when Margo went first and that was a while ago now.

Level but with you leading on age difference, I think. Meanwhile MakSim is hanging on with 20% lung capacity and a priest called in...

No had one at the Euros since 1980, Wee Jim.
-
5 or more goals? In an Italy vs England match? Yeah, I think Wee Jim's won this one.

Huh, I'm lost? I was rooting for Denmark, on the spurious reasons that I quite like Denmark, and am a sucker for sporting underdogs? And you don't get more underdog than your best player nearly dying on the fucking pitch! (But being honest, I am fairly chilled about this English team. No outright gobshites like John Terry or Ashley Cole or the like in the side to make you root for Andorra instead!) I tend to ignore Windsor's hategasms about everything in his own country tbh. (But yes, 44th in the world Scotland actually qualifying for something and holding the joint-favourites to a draw was an achievement in context. Unionists who see everything in society through the lens of Sturgeons smile are as bad as the cybernats imo.)

Stunning that a man who spent 9 years in jail for federal fraud might be selfish.

James Brokenshire resigns from government as his recovery from lung cancer is "taking longer than expected".
-
Well, now he's moved from un-dead to the other side, he can now replace a movie icon. 1, 2, Dilip's coming for you...
-
Also whenever this thread gets bumped up, I keep thinking that's David Berglas had it.

Both. In 1990 he played a far right politician (who def wasn't based on any of the national front/BNP types, honest) trying to stoke up divisions in Maryhill. He's one of the episode red herrings (apologies for spoiling a 30+ year old drama sod all of you will ever watch!).

Apparently it's the Taggart with a young Bobby Carlyle as a fascist. I've seen that a few times (as the plot is quite complicated, even for an early Taggart) but I can't place your man's character.

Someone I've actually heard of. Stunning development Mr Crumble. PS Lucky Colin Jost, whoever he is... -
Documentary coming out about Val Kilmer's cancer battle. In remission now but now needs a voice box to communicate. As long term advocate of the "he's not that ill" brigade: he wont see 70.

A non-death update which genuinely saddens me to have to post. Terry Funk has dementia and is in assisted living facility now. Can see him joining Jack Brisco and Harley Race in the great beyond before too long.

1 game at Celtic and time with a bunch of lower league sides none of whom were mine. I'd never heard of him and he played briefly down the road! (And well, that's what this is? The thread of folk who got laid?) -

A bit obscure even by this list of the recently shagged! -
Anyone who saw former 49ers GM (and apparently a college football legend) Terry Donahue's publicised "battle with undisclosed cancer" since 2019 and thus displayed caution due to lack of further information can groan. He's dead aged 77.
