Linda Nolan pulled out of her planned musical tour run last month due to the whole being too ill with terminal cancer thing. Yes, I know everyone on here could have said that was a tad optimistic but noteworthy as the first actual cancellation of something rather than just talking about it on Loose Women imo...

New Rolling Stone interview with David Crosby. Not much health related in it, more about how writing new music is keeping him going despite health issues.

Nope, I had to confirm I didn't suffer from them to get Pfizer! (But Scotland maybe different to down south of course.) -

In her defence - I had never heard of her 2 minutes ago - apparently she suffers from anaphylactic allergic shocks, and folk with those are advised NOT to get the vaccine by the NHS. -

Not really a surprise given his private life and the recent rumours. (Which I hasten to add is really no one business, and nothing compared to his political achievements or lack there of...) -
Was going to say he's one of the better refs in Europe, but actually I'm thinking of Kuipers who is Dutch. Byrch is a bit rubbish, was the ref behind the "VAR says Serbia got fouled in the box but I am going to ignore it" scenario from 2018, after which he got sent home from the World Cup by FIFA.

I ignored him because he was giving press comments yesterday so seemed to have a bit more life in him. I didn't mean seconds!

Aye, wasn't a criticism, more that passing your criteria is a seal of approval. Fair point about her fame (although I'm old enough to just remember Sister Wendy's TV show in the early 90s?).

My team Bob Dole - American political, presidential candidate, DLer, etc. Sasha Johnson - The BLM leader in the UK who got shot. Famous enough to have a loud BBC regular profile for years before that. Rick Laird - original guitarist from Mahavishnu Orchestra, although he did leave before their most famous song (Planetary Citizen which is sampled in Massive Attack's Unfinished Sympathy). Terry Lubbock - campaigner about his sons death and against Michael Barrymore for 20 odd years now. Andre Rademan - a rugby executive. He's only here because he's not well tbh. Soulaimane Raissouni - Editor/journalist from Morocco whose current jail term and hunger strike has caused mass government protests. Jehan Sadat - the widow of the Egyptian President who got assassinated in the 80s, and a popular feminist icon in Egypt. Saranya - Highly popular actress... in India where she's the equivalent of a Patsy Kensit type. MakSim - One of the better selling artists in Europe, but somewhat obscure here (or indeed nearly everywhere) as nearly all of those sales are in her native Russia. Susie Steiner - the crime novelist Catherine Wybourne - the Digital Nun. She and the rugby guy are the most obscure names on my team, but she passed the Willz test on notability (to my surprise tbh). Obscure but influential 70s bands, anti-government demonstrations, how parochial chart fans get (I now picture a 90s Russian music fan going "Who is this Wet Wet Wet?") - I love finding out about this sort of stuff. But mostly they're there because I think they're ill!
-
Not very well these days, so I hear, sadly.
-
No idea how it happened Willz, I think the genuine contenders all tripped on a Banana skin somewhere!

Commiserations Spade, I genuinely thought you'd win right up to, well midnight right there. Bit surprised my somewhat lax Googling has lucked me into a final. And that we suddenly have the DDP Co-host derby too, best of luck to Reptile.

Genuinely thought he'd be a DL bedblocker one day. Oh well, saves that spot for someone we all love instead!
-
I know. I'm stunned too tbh!

OK I can post YouTube and Twitter on my phone (which doesn't do YouTube or Twitter, so long roundabout way there) - but not on computer, and not a cookies issue. Anyhow, the video is below.

Clearly a week for aging actors to show up out of the woodwork post-lockdowns again. This (3 hour) zoom interview about The Man from UNCLE has Carolyn Seymour (Quantum Leap, Survivors) who is a youthful 74; respected 88 year old TV director Ray Austin (who worked on everything from The Avengers to V The Mini Series) and.... The notoriously reclusive Anthony Zerbe, Bond villain/Omega Man/etc star. Now 85, you rarely ever see him these days so a bit of a coup for this YouTuber. The Return of The Man From U.N.C.L.E. Thoughts and Opinions on the 2021 Deathlist
msc replied to Charles De Gaulle's topic in DeathList Forum
It feels like a traditional 12/50 year to me, tbh!
