Alf Dubs (Lord Dubs) and Dr Ruth feel like DL type picks, from that list.
-
Good luck! It's odd to think that, with 100 teams in already, some folk might already be confirmed for the Drop 40. (No I don't know for sure, I don't see the emails before my team goes in for obvious reasons!)

*adds Sir Cunto to shortlist*

Inspired by Dominici I was updating my long list with other rugby internationalists over the weekend. You know what happened next. Yep, 47 cap Jean-Pierre Lux has gone and snuffed it aged 74, days after being added. This never happens to serial killers, bigots or Will Self...

PS My own view is that if you play some quasi-obscure pick and don't even check to see if they died off radar of the host, its your own points. Or lack of.

afaik he didn't actually get a QO at the time.

The Apprentice is a shit show, Spurs are a shit team (for a big team, obviously), and Alan Sugar is basically Del Boy with a knighthood. imo.
-
I'm rarely surprised by omissions from DL because the Cmme are the Cmme and a law unto themselves, but if either Rush Limbaugh or James Whale miss out on DL2021 (not through dying this month) I will be genuinely gobsmacked because both are their type of picks to a T.

Now thats the kind of do good helpful posting we like from newcomers imo. Onto the short list of 130 he goes. (It's short compared to the long list...)

Nothing. The Crowdsourced list copies the official Deathlist by only keeping 25 names from the year before, but if a 26th (and 27th and so on) make it onto the list, the host merely DQ's them and adds the 51st person to the list and so on. Not anything you need to worry about yourself.

Green and Gerard Houllier (a unique for Dinner Reservation for 20) have us within 14 of the record, and 17 days left...

So in 5 months, we'll be into another DDP year, somehow. To quote Spade in 2017, Consider this thread an open platform for any suggestions, questions or long-running issues you have with the DDP, the scoring, the website itself or just go "STOP CANCER MUMS" repeatedly. Obits, bonus points, whatever you like. But first and foremost, have a gander at this announcement concerning a rule change for the Derby Dead Pool going forward.

Other faves: Gone With "The Wind" for Warren Zevon Walking in a Pinter Wonderland Albert Hoffmann - Legend Sadly Deceased Atkins Die-ette And of course, the one and obvious one they held onto for years: One Foot In The Grave.

6 months of chemo and the result is the cancer got bigger.

Huge loss, that, great writer.

Hot tip for you - Peter Falk has Alzheimer's. Look, drol and Joey had the open goal there...

Its fucking brilliant. I've been watching the repeats on Drama and it's like another country - "that's demolished, that went on fire, they got rid of that...oh wait, that's still there!"

Hey, he was the man you love to hate! Or was that Mark?
-
It works out quite nicely as mrs msc likes the purple ones and hates toffee.

Can confidently say on precedent Jake will get a BBC obit when he dies and probably make the front page too.
-
Yes but at the risk of producing a Sean special list that still leaves: Larry King, Gorbachev, Sidney Poitier, Ozzy, QE2, Jerry Lee Lewis, Jake, Jimmy Greaves, Pope Benny, Linda Nolan, and Barbara Walters as potential returnees further up the list, and that's not counting "nice to have but not urgent" names like Mel Brooks, Stanley Baxter, etc...

Oh that makes far more sense. I had assumed after failing to find them they were obscure Mexican stars, even going by who's team it actually was! Eyesight fail, thank feck I put up the working. from 0 to 51 points in an edit.
-
To quote a former member of the forum, I certainly think Gorbachev is "famous enough and sick enough".
-
I like the toffees. It's the purple one with hazelnuts I can't stand!

That film was fecking awful.
