He was back on Dynamite this week after a few weeks away, as manager of the Murderhawk. Ten min segment and the camera didn't focus on him, but by the end he very noticeably leaned over onto the ramp for support, and then was clearly struggling for breathe. imo if Jake can no longer perform, he'll go downhill rapidly, and based on the evidence from this careful stage managed role to be as least stressful as possible, I don't think he's got much left in the tank.

I follow trends. Err, I mean, my opinion.

Tbh if he can't even get by DI - the most chilll of the admins - there's no chance that grumpy Clyde fan () is doing anything. Shame as imo Deathray doesn't deserve to be in the same boat as Zorders and charon. Deathray was fucking annoying twice a year, Zorders was fucking annoying with every fucking syllable!

iirc Johnny Briggs decided to retire but was still quite active with personal appearances and replying to fan mail. @Ulitzer95 can surely confirm if the latter is still the case on the up to date fanmail forum I forget the name of... -
About 18% of the 2020 total so far for those missing those early US voting updates from October!

tbh I'm all for a bit of Christmas clemency* but its down to the admin team who are clearly still fucked off by the last time, not any of the rest of us. *This seasonal goodwill from Scrooge here may swiftly die if I have to coax Grim through the nervous breakdown of seeing an email with 1000 new teams.

The teams arent public and nor is the scoring, Toast! Needs Clorox to count them... tbh going by the two hosts this game is a nightmare to work out the scores on.

She frequents the US for cheap medicinal weed for her arthritis iirc. Said so in that travel documentary she made with John Fashanu - as entertaining as it sounds. -
According to the TV Guide, its on twice a week. News to me!

I'm not bemoaning your deft unique picking, more his having three bloody H's in his surname!

Thanks, old chap. I had noticed that one but tbh I don't know how many eps he was actually in or if his decade was...continous, so erred on the side of caution. (In his retirement he said he'd been in a lot but as no one watches River City there doesn't appear to be an official count online...)

Aww christ, going to be my brains biggest DDP Obit spelling anxiety attack since that sod Willz picked one of the Khrushchev's!

iirc she was still in the show until about summer 2011? Hence a few idiots guests on here claiming she was a huge miss when she'd seemed her usual working self until a few months prior! (Treacher would make a good DL pick, the problem is a lot of folk would and there's only 50 spots!) EDIT - Ninja'd, by Rover! -
I think the hint here is that all the established members went "I think I left the gas on at home, AFB can deal with it" tbh.

He passed what I refer to as The Mum Rule, when Mum or someone of that ilk goes "Did you hear so and so died/has cancer/etc?" (Incidentally, she brought up Jan Morris which proves the point that was a generational thing rather than a fame issue...)

OK, going off Deathrays points explanation above, and his early insistence on counting telenovellas, here appear to be the current scores. And if I got some of his ideas wrong, he can sign in under yet another account (I Can't Believe It's Not Deathers?) to correct me... = 1. Surprised Bill Treacher has never really got deadpool traction, as despite not being terminally ill he had to reitire on health grounds a decade ago, and is a familiar TV face. The sort of name you'd expect more casual players to jump at. imo Fenton will be on the DL 2021 or 2022 providing he lives that far... -
If Iain gives out a fact in a forest and there's no one to hear it is it still wrong? (Yes)
-
Legit thought she was going to make the DL next month...

I bet you're all thinking - man, I haven't heard much on dementia this week. So to compensate, a pre-DDP reminder of some big names suffering from the ailment. Yeah its not a sport but its contact theatre and the injuries (and consequences) are much the same, and in the last few months alone Pat Patterson and Mark Rocco have died with it. Paul Orndorff - beat cancer twice, now suffers from severe dementia and likely CTE. Dave Hebner - got diagnosed before 2014, got the "gravely ill" podcast talk about 2-3 years ago, stunned he's still going. Ahmed Johnson - allegedly Heidenreich - combines early onset memory loss with congestive heart failure. Of the 42 wrestlers who claimed critical health issues and "early signs" of dementia onset in that lawsuit, 12 have died since 2016. Along with the above, the remaining are: Earl Hebner - suffering "cognitive difficulties" and memory loss so likely following his twin above. Ken Patera - has the constant headaches of post-concussion syndrome. Sabu - "The Homicidal, Suicidal, Genocidal, DeathâDefying Maniac" has the least surprisingly "extensive neurological issues" in history. Barry "Smash/Repo Man" Darsow - "severe loss of memory" Bill "Ax" Eadie - severe memory loss, headaches, did have heart issues at one point. Berzerker (John Nord) - dying of ALS Johnny "The Bull" Stamboli - severe memory loss, headaches, took a lot of stupid shots to the head. Mike Enos Butch Reed Jazz Slyvain Grenier - severe memory loss but was still one of the main carers for Pat Patterson... Muhammed Hassan Shane Douglas Henry Godwinn Judy Martin Mark Jindrak The Warlord Marty fn Jannetty - allegedly unaware of his surroundings (unless confessing to murder, rape or wanting to shag his foster daughter), regular blackouts, self-medicates Mantaur Black Bart - meant to be on his way out since 2015 though Slick The One Man Gang Jimmy Jack Funk Boris Zhukov Rodney Mack Angelo Mosca also has dementia, as does Danny Hodge. Vampiro claims he has Alzheimer's but take anything he says with a lorry of salt. World of Sport's Jim Breaks was too demented to stand trial for murder. Mick Foley has had extreme memory loss since 1999 and his having likely CTE is an open secret, sadly. As with other areas of the world, this has expanded considerably within the last few years.

This is becoming a lot like that Ham Radio episode of Frasier. "Hello, I'm the ice cream man. Years ago I went to school with Nigel Fairservice. We used to romp in the fens and spinnies..." -
Depends if Gooseberry's planning any more big predictions for 2021...
