Good idea. Here's a picture from Remembrance Sunday which will get 2 replies forecasting doom from Sean!

More of a theme team pick than a game winner, but legit just came across a name I am so stunned to find was still alive that they need to be picked next year. And I thought Ulitzer pointing out the guy who did the Van der Valk theme was alive would be hard to top.

1. Putin 2. Trump 3. Modi A wishful thinking entry for a wishful thinking deadpool!

I note your views and have passed them on to myself, who has decided she's still not famous enough. I don't count getting a vaccine as a mark of notability, sorry. Anyhow, you are barking up the wrong tree. Martin Kenyon, the 91 year old who got the vaccine and went viral with his CNN interview ("the lunch was terrible) which has gone worldwide... is apparently a well-respected (going off social media prior to yesterday) anti-apartheid activist who worked with Desmond Tutu, helped run the multi-racial Waterford school in Swaziland where Mandela's weans were taught and was interviewed briefly by the Guardian about the activities 7 years ago. I could see him having some loose notability (very loose) that would result in an entertaining Telegraph obit one day. Seems bloody health to my mind, however! Obviously FFBI means they are noteworthy for being ill, not go pick your gran. Unless your gran is Angela Lansbury of course...

Oh I think he'll be a goner next year (perhaps as one of those people who hang on for the 100th then die almost immediately afterwards), Ulitzer's quip just tickled me. The Queen herself would probably rather have a whisky and a comfy chair instead of listening to Holy Redeemer yet again...

Good luck in the DDP. And I hope some of those Corrie eps on Britbox are new to you. Although apparently even being briefly related to Ken Barlow = death on that show, his mum, dad, brother, sister, nephew and 2 wives all died within 15 years!

tbh can you blame him? That'd be my choice of the two options as well!

Hah, I admire the not even pretending to be a disguise. Some suggestions for names for the month ahead: This Is Not Deathray, I Am Sock, I Am Not Sock and Who Is This Deathers Person Anyway?

Speaking of, did we mention Vera Lynn was Deathlist's 100th DDP hit? Yes, yes we did. But we forgot that: @maryportfuncityreached the century in August with Frankie Banali. That was also the day Going Underground hit 100, too. 2021 will see Spade, DI and Chorizo pass 100 too.

Hopefully, but like Player of the Month, these things need worked out manually. To work out how many DDP hits Toast has had, for example, you have to count them.

Hmm, Anne to inherit her mum and grandmum (and great grandmum)'s longevity. Andrew to go fairly soon as that non sweating thing sounds like a serious medical condition to me...

I am led to believe they both go to the same place. Calling Dr @Grim Up North?

The Finnish actually have one of the more respected armies in Europe which twice held back the far bigger and mightier Russian army in the last century from conquering the country. The fact they still have a large and active army is often considered one of the major deterrents against another attempt... I think they still have conscription too? We have a Finn on the forum who can tell us...

Sounds about right. tbh I put Clinton in the 76-85 range (oh that starts sooner than you'd think) and Dubya in his mid-90s. Whereas if Jimmy Carter sees January 1st 2022 (he wont), I'll put out a song about how awesome he is...

Given Bill Gates dad did... All 3 are notables but 2 of them are more famous regionally rather than internationally...

Apparently she also had an acting career, however mediocre, so yes, she's OK. Good spot. (Or bad spot, your mileage may vary...)

Another DDP lock down the drain. At this rate it'll be me putting up Sinead O'bloody Connor!
-
tbh I thought he'd see 100 easily...
-
I mean, technically she was in every episode of some godawful sounding reality TV show so shes just about eligible, but talk of boring sounding picks... Anyhow, glio/covid sounds like a tag team that will make that a moot point...

Now *that's* proper Doctor Who. None of this sitting around somewhere debating if its ethical to defeat a mass murdering enemy as Chibnall has done. Just straight up deadpan army men vs a man in a Gargoyle suit.
-
Hah its just coincidence I happened to look it up a week ago out of curiosity. At least you can find out what happens to him. I've never picked her because she's as famous as my aunt, but campanologist Julie McDonnell (?) fell off the radar about 2 years ago.

He's alive and still teaching a full course as of the 2020-2021 academic year btw.

Even my stupidly long longlist only has nine people *currently* older than the late Roberta McCain and since that includes Kane Tanaka and the wife of a diplomat I'd struggle to call them famous.

Yeah, chalk me up as another with a reserved spot for Mr Scott. I'll need to send out another invite.
