    Hollywood Possibilities

Every year we get to my annual October rewatch of The Fog and I remain surprised Hal Holbrook is still with us.

Reassuringly dull vs whirlwind of attention. Biggest contest since Hulk/Andre.

Frank Bowling, who is on my B-team this year as he has had a number of health problems, is now Sir Frank Bowling.

The Queens bit for deadpoolers by reminding them Tommy Steele is still alive?

    Donald J Trump

The death rate for catching covid if you are under 65 years old is still 5 times that of catching normal flu. To date, everyone I know who has died of covid has come in the under 50 category, and all of them would have had fairly normal lives for years without it. I don't think fairly active me is living on the brink of death (touch wood) but as someone who lives with usually mild chronic asthma I'd be likely Defcon Fucked if I caught the fucking thing. Tbf, Lardy does want Trump to be triggered by these events.

    20 /20

Is George Blake still alive? He was said to be on his deathbed nearly 2 years ago and struck me as the type to die off the radar, akin to some other defectors in the recent past.

So, for those not following the story, WWE womens wrestler Paige (Saraya Bevis) managed to get out of that abusive relationship soon after the events Engineer mentioned above. She had to retire due to neck injuries but does bits and bobs for the WWE on screen and is currently doing Twitch gaming. So seems in a better place - at the very least, the least insane of her family. Small bar there, I admit. However, it appears she's had a very lucky escape, as former WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio is facing life imprisonment in Texas for his treatment of another girlfriend, indicted by grand jury on the charges of kidnapping, rape and threatening to kill a child. https://talksport.com/sport/wrestling/771689/wwe-alberto-del-rio-aggravated-kidnapping/ https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-8306165/WWE-alum-Alberto-Del-Rio-accused-raping-woman-threatening-child-San-Antonio.html
  11. It does! Helen’s mind was very fertile. She wrote poetry and read The Times every day, highly adept at the crossword. She was mentally sharp when we spoke on the phone but physically she was feeling unwell. We agreed that I would call back when she had improved. It was clear she had many stories to tell. Then a call came through a few weeks ago from Keith Chamings, Helen’s nephew, and his wife, Anne, that on August 11, aged 99, Helen had died. “Her mind was still alert but it was hard for her recently,” Anne said. “She was very close to her [1948] swimming team and the last one went a little while ago.”

Can't help but like a politician who, on asked about some fiery rhetoric from weeks previously on a live interview, went: "Oh, that? I was just shitstirring!" He is his own man though, which is why like the late Jimmy Reid he's struggled to stay in the one party.

Has had dementia for years and periods of falling health alongside it. My source is a family friend. If you want a 2 for 1 deal on nationalists, Jim Sillars is not a well man these days, though I'm not entirely sure whats up - might be just age related. He's been going downhill since Margo's death.

    Pope Francis

Pope's are well known for their immunity to ill health which is why John Paul II is still with and certainly didn't have the flu and sepsis in 2005...

    Werner Herzog

And it being Werner Herzog I 100% believe that anecdote happened. He got shot during an interview and replied "Its not significant" after all.

    That's Entertainment!

Somehow there's still at least 5 living cast members from Seven Brides for Seven Brothers which feels like a surprisingly large number for a film rapidly approaching its 70th anniversary!

    Boris Johnson

Sunak is popular now as a new face in a crisis dishing out money. (Or so I hear, I never got any of it!) Let's see how popular he remains when he starts having to be the Chancellor with the various cuts and rises that'll be needed in early 2021. History is full of popular Chancellors whose popularity sunk like a stone as soon as they had to make tough decisions.

When abouts? She averaged 3-6 points in November 2016 and finished with 2 in term of the national lead.

Instead of those 5, Musharraf, Tony Bennett (seems healthy and not really a DL icon), Greenspan (feels one of their 2 years and done names), Imelda Marcos and Desmond Tutu feel more like drops, and any more deaths in 2020 will save Tutu/Marcos.

This is why I don't update the DDP while on painkillers. As interesting as obits that go "Vera Lynn was a FIRE BREATHING dragon who played for Manchester United..." might be...
