    British Science Fiction Series

Actually, no: Day of the Triffids (1981) John Duttine b. 1949 Jonathan Newth b. 1939 Elizabeth Chambers b. 1933 Cleo Sylvestre b. 1945 John Benfield c 1957 David Swift b. 1931 Eva Griffith b. 1962 Christopher Owen c 1946 William Morgan Sheppard b. 1932 Jon Rumney b. 1928 Lorna Yabsley b. 1964 Denis Gilmore b. 1949 Edmund Pegge b. 1939 Donald Pelmear b. 1924 Sally Lahee b. 1923 Gordon Case c. 1944 Alan Helm b. 1938 Albie Woodington b. 1952 Andrew Paul b. 1961 Beryl Nesbitt c. 1935 Obviously the younger cast will keep it around for a while but it's actually 1/4th of the list down in 5 years. John Duttine once spotted LFN on a train, or so I hear.

Forgot about that picture. It's probably bad etiquette to laugh at your own joke but no one else did!

    Carlos Menem

Blimey, it's been around for 15-20 years now and was my "they're still alive?" site before I'd even heard of the Deathlist.

    Carlos Menem

He recently achieved one of the great achievements in life - being added to the Genarians website!

    Queen Camilla

Hah! Some of us are quite consistent though. It didn't bother me that Charles and Camilla were shagging (it wasn't my marriage, it's not my business) but thought the whole one party wronged thing was bollocks when Diana was off with that Hewitt fellow and others. Anyhow Diana's dead and after, what, 40 years, Charlie and Cam are clearly quite besotted so more power to them, that's longer than most couples last these days! Harry I always thought was a bit of harmless mad bastard, that's when he was into his Nazi dress up phase, his war vet/charity hero phase, his get hitched to an actress phase and so on. The press went from criticising him to loving him back to criticising him so probably in another decade's time he'll be back to being loved and if I'm still about I'll still think he's a mad bastard.

    Queen Camilla

tbh I'm looking forward to her becoming Queen Camilla one day on my "it'll annoy many folk who take it far too seriously" outlook.

    Political Frailty

So, to recap on disgraced former Labour MP Eric Joyce, 59, a man thrown out of the army and parachuted into a safe Labour seat before making it specifically toxic for Labour based on his own skills. First he lost the Labour whip for headbutting a Tory MP, then he lost his job for being an alcoholic wreck, then his marriage split because he shagged a school girl. Now he's in the dock, confessing to "making indecent images of a child" and facing jail time. In between all this he helped change the Labour rules which saw about the election of Jeremy Corbyn and was a prime source for party gossip in the tabloids. Presumably no longer. But the man's a trainwreck which is going to end only one way.

https://www.hindustantimes.com/india-news/odisha-mla-bishnu-charan-das-dies/story-AEVQYpimVor5CQ1VzXHpLN.html Isn't this the chap on AFB's team? (Sorry DI if true. And sorry An Fear Beag for not instituting bonus points for any hits on a former hosts birthday. My bad.)

    Ideas and Possibilities for 2021

Who knew there was a 98 year old Scottish international rugby player alive? I didn't. Logie Bruce Lockhart played rugby for Scotland from 1948 to 1953 after serving in the Second World War. He then became headmaster of Greshams for 30 years and taught James Dyson. He now writes books on everything from education policy to fishing in the Highlands to just being very very old. Here's a picture of him from last summer.

    DSCDP

That was Sir Creep's DDP attempted trick a few years ago but he didn't pick them this time. Nor did anyone, List of the Missed.

    Football

That Portsmouth/Reading match, which I remember well as Chris Kamara had a hangover and was covering on SSN and had about 50 incidents to talk about. Also it could have been more as there was a goal ruled off and a penalty saved. Always annoying when teams play ultra-defensive football like this... PS A few weeks later Reading went to White Hart Lane and lost 6-4 to Spurs. They were relegated on goal difference iirc.

    The Happy Birthday Thread

Surely a future DL pick, Eva Marie Saint is 96! Adam Hart-Davis, who you don't see much on TV these days (ahem), and who also looked ghastly on Pointless last year, is 77. Oh and Kid Jensen is 70, which probably ages a few folk.

    Olivia De Havilland

See that's what normal folk would think, but if Iain here has the ability to diagnose terminal illness from a normal photo that could revolutionise the DDP...

    Earl Cameron

Delayed only slightly by the news breaking at 1am UK time, but he was a cert - the Beeb were promoting him for BLM only a fortnight ago.

    Deathlist Dreaming

Edward's biggest issue nowadays is folk who never paid notice to the Queen having kids other than Charles and Anne (tbf Charles is Charles, Anne is charity/sports, and then there's the formerly boring other 2) now forever confuse which one certainly never visited a Pizza Express. At least I do. Luckily "Pizza Express Prince" Google clears that one up.

    Deathlist Dreaming

Uh, because it's been reported several times that Charles would prefer one of his middle names? It's just a hint. It was a big news story in 2005 based on palace leaks but Charles himself said he wouldn't public comment while his mum lived.Recently some of the tabloids ran with it again, quite possibly based on that same source. Anyhow he might not but its not exactly plucked out of the area for a bit of fan fiction.

    Scavenger Hunt Bingo Deadpool II

iirc (and 4 years ago so probably not) I was bit perplexed by that question for some reason and thought it was far more restricted than it actually was.

    Deathlist Dreaming

My money, if I bet, would be on George VII. Avoids Charles as a King name, pays tribute to his grandfather, implies a strong sense of duty and continuation and not rocking the boat so good virtue signalling to any worried upper classes who read signals.
